Awesome brush!
I was torn between buying a rubber bristled brush that my cat was used to or a boar bristle brush. Once I saw this double sided brush, I took a chance on it and it was the perfect choice. It’s made of high quality materials, is oval in shape with a heavy wood body, and best of all my cat loves both types of brush. A great value!EDIT: I was wary of how to clean this brush when it was full of cat hair. I stumbled upon the PERFECT solution– “Denman Hairbrush Cleaning Brush for Effective Hairbrush Cleaning, DBC1,” sold on Amazon as well. This simple thing works wonders! It’s simple, it’s compact, and it gets every bit of cat hair out of the brush. Use both ends and simply comb through the boars head brush. I no time you have a perfectly clean brush with barely any effort!

Softest brush ever and great at picking up hair/fur
Edit- I ordered the Cat Brush version of this brush for my tiny dogs, and it is perfect! It’s soft but picks up their shedding hair, and they love it- finally! I seriously tried about 6 or 7 brushes. This was the best and works for us!This brush is the best – except it is way too big for my tiny papillon puppies – and it will always be too big for them. I really wish it came in a smaller version exactly as it is (not the palm versions). I have bought several other brands in attempts to replace this, and I can’t! Today, I bought the cat brush version of this brand, hoping it will be a smaller, close enough option. I love both sides of this brush, and so do my puppies, but the brush is almost bigger than they are (about 9 inches long), so it won’t work for us. It is also very well made and ships in a sturdy box with great customer service.

Well-made. A bit heavy. The boar bristles side should have a wider bristle area. Thereâs a lot of unused space there.

Top quality, useful brush
Very good quality, well made and durable. The 2 in 1 versatility is nice to have. My cat didn’t like it but she doesn’t like any brush so I can’t hold it against this brand!

My dog felt like she was getting a massage
My dog is medium sized with various length hair from short to long. The Buddy System Combo brush was perfect for Sophie. She just laid back and meditated through the brushing. I started with the rubber side to loosen the hair and finished with the bristle side to remove the hair and add shine to her coat. What else is there to say? It worked great and was truly enjoyed.

Best gentle brush
This dog brush is perfect for my lab. His hair is not thick. I was using dog brushes made with wired bristles and his groomer told me I could as creating dander by scratching his skin. I found this gentle brush and my lab loves it.Â

If your dog has sensory issues give this brush a try!
Our dog would almost cry and run when brushing him with nearly every brush we tried. I was doing some reading and found that he might benefit from this type of brush. I have bought so many other brushes before. I tell you I about cried when right out of the box I brushed his entire body AND then when I was done he kept pawing at me to brush him more. My husband was shocked.Our cat even loves it.Why did you pick this product vs others?:This just came up when I searched this brush after a Google search for sensory bushes

Just OK
Thought my cat would like this 2-sided brush but she’s not crazy about it. It works well along her back and sides where most of her fur is, but not so well under her chin or around the sides of her face. Both sides of the brush are difficult to clean. But this brush is smaller than the other brush I have for her which is what I was looking for. Overall, it’s an ok brush and I’ll keep it.

Got this bc I read somewhere that a natural hair bristle brush can help with dandruff by spreading the natural oils throughout the coat or something. Idk if that’s true but my dandruffy sensitive skinned cat ADORES this brush! He gets chirpy and starts purring right when he sees it, he even gives me his belly to brush! The bristles are super gentle and dislodge a surprising amount of fine undercoat and dandruff while leaving his topcoat glossy and smooth. The rubber side is also the only thing that desheds his coarse, dense coat and he loves it too. I’ve tried wire slicker brushes, curry combs, even the equigroom and while they all work beautifully on my other cat, this brush is the only one that’s effective and tolerable for my fussy boy. Absolute game changer, my boy is noticeably more comfortable in his own fur since adding this to his daily routine. 10/10

I thought the brush would be smaller then it is. I ordered it for my 9lbs dog. It works really well for him, even if the size is a bit big. The bristles are pretty soft and the silcon side is a nice touch. I would not recommend this brush for long haired pets though. I think for what it is, it could have been priced a bit cheaper, or I should have waited for a sale.

I groom my cats twice a day and they have the most incredible coats with this brush. They are luxuriously soft and I am frequently asked how I maintain the beautiful gloss and show cat looking coat. Buy this brush. Honestly- your cats can have show cat quality coats like mine.

I have a 3.7 pound chihuahua. This brush is for a large dog. It’s a very good brush, but, I wish it was made smaller for smaller dogs.
