Top notch substrate
Seriously the best substrate on the market and worth every penny. The gold flakes add such a great aesthetic and if you plan to dig your own tunnels between hides, this substrate will hold its shape. Itâs easy to use, holds moisture as well as any non-wood substrate could, and wonât cause impaction. I highly recommend this product, even after the shipping costs are figured in; it ships fast and doesnât get any better.

Best leopard gecko substrate
This is such an amazing substrate, itâs light and fluffy, and the moisture stays in the lower layers very well. It also arrived five days earlier than It was expected to. I made my own substrate previously and it was nowhere near as good as this, so from now on I will be buying the bio dude.

Best Bioactive Substrate On The Market
Not only does this seller have excellent customer service (responds promptly and fixes any issues immediately) but this stuff is practically magical. It holds burrows, keeps the lower layers damp and the top layer dry, it’s super easy to clean up feces without taking all the substrate with it, my two boys (5 and 7 month old bearded dragons, Beam and Drogon) absolutely love it. It almost seems to absorb feces smell, their tanks smell so clean because of this substrate. I cannot recommend Terra Sahara or the Biodude highly enough, I’d need ten stars. The substrate is even pretty to look at!

Bought this for my leopard geckos. Super big bag that will last awhile. Works great for my Leoâs and cleaning is easy. Definitely worth the money.

No mixing, it’s the perfect consistency
I love this soil and pretty much everything from bio dude, it’s the perfect consistency not packed to hard but not too loose, it’s perfect for the cleanup crew which makes cleaning almost non-existent. I do like the color but if I was going for more of a desert skape it wouldn’t look the best it’s more of a gray soil color
