useful, fairly realistic
They look nice enough in my planted tank, and my swordtails and dwarf Mexican crayfish all enjoy going through them–their holes and hollow interiors are spacious enough for an adult female swordtail to swim through but also seem to provide adequate sense of security for the tiny crayfish. I’d love it if they were available in another color scheme or two, to mimic different kinds of wood, as I love the warmer brown-and-yellowish tones of the fake pine log that’s also in the tank, but they look decent enough.

Great!
Bigger then I had anticipated but the mollies like it so it is Okay. At first, it was hard to clean because of the charcoal I had to scavenge for from my siblings that actually own charcoal. If buying this ornament for fish tanks I suggest following the seller instruction that they have on their website and thoroughly cleaning the decor before adding to a Fish Tank. No instructions came with my pieces but they are here on their Amazon page.

Ok but smaller than expected
Very pretty! Seemed nice but smaller than i expected. Also, had a rather sharp lip on the inside of the holes which can be easily filed down but I returned because they where too small for my catfish. Would be great for cory cats or other smaller fish or shrimp!

Worth it in my opinion
My African dwarf frogs love these two pieces! I love all the holes it has as is allows them to easily find a way out to get to the surface and breath, other products often only have one opening which they can have trouble navigating the material is not too rough or anything as that has been a problem in the past.

Unsafe for betta fish
I am returning these log hides. They donât look like the photos in the listing. They look very cheaply painted and fake. But more importantly they arenât safe. They have several sharp points and jagged edges. And the tunnels are very narrow. I think my betta could easily get injured on these. Iâm not taking that risk.

Arrived damaged
One piece of the product arrived damaged. I still used it since it was on back, and not to noticeable once placed with plants and other decor. Looks great, so not to disappointed.

Decent buy, but needed just a little work for my specific needs.
They look pretty good, I needed to use my Dremel on the inside edges which I thought were just a bit sharp and flared a little, but with 10 minutes of Dremel work on the two pieces and then a quick wash they were good to go for my crayfish. For the price the little bit of work needed to suit my specific needs was okay, if it had just been for some platy fish I wouldn’t have bothered but I wanted to make sure the crays had an easy time going in and out.

look great in the tank!
These were a great price so had to tank a chance on them. Way better than I expected. No flaking so far so happy with that. Only thing is some spots were a bit sharp but I filed them down. Fish love them.
Nancy –
My betta love exploring & resting in these. Yes, some edges are sharp. Nothing sandpaper or a nail file can’t fix in minutes. Only con I have is, the 5 hole log, may be a bit small for an adult male with long flowing fins. So I put it in my young female bettas tank. The one in the picture is the 4 hole log. My boy loves it. Plenty of room. For the price, you’re getting 2 for the price of 1. So, I highly recommend them.
Madfox –
Plenty of hidy holes for all my fish except one but head that thought it could but goy stuck, all good saved him.
Erpee –
The quality of pieces received was of very poor quality and don’t look as pictured. Sharp edges.
Chris van Voorst –
Hides are roomy enough even for my large male bettas. I would recommend.
Tash Kaye –
Added with others to tank. Fish love to hiding spaces.
