Tetra AquaSafe® Plus works instantly to make tap water safe for fish in freshwater and marine aquariums. This BioExtract formula contains natural biopolymers to support the development of beneficial filter bacteria for healthy and clear water. These added ingredients help reduce aquarium pollution by strengthening the bacterial bed. Tetra AquaSafe Plus provides a slime coating to help wounds heal and protect fish from abrasions. Unique colloid ingredients protect your fish’s delicate gills and membranes. Use with freshwater or marine fish. Add 1 teaspoon (5 mL) for every 10 gallons of aquarium water. Good product and value!
I have been using the regular Aqua Safe for years and I have never encountered any issues, so I order the plus to see how it works and it seems pretty good you can actually tell when you add it to the tank it creates some sort oily mix but it quickly disappears leaving no residue behind. Also I added to some of my tanks when adding new fish and so far I haven’t seen any issues.

Fish Haven’t Kicked the Bucket
This is good.. It gets rid of all the nasty chemicals like chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals. I didn’t really think about how dangerous those things were before using this product (oh well). It also claims to help your fish heal faster with some added vitamins. My fish seem fine, but they could just be tough as nails, who knows?It’s pretty easy to use – you just add a capful to your tank and it works in seconds. I got the 8oz bottle and it’s lasted me quite a while. It’s definitely more convenient than trying to find fish-safe water elsewhere. Plus, my local grocery store doesn’t even sell bottled spring water, what are they thinking? Anyway, overall, Tetra AquaSafe Plus is a decent product that does its job (I think). My fish haven’t died yet so I guess it works!

Huge bottle!! This value supply is going to last for a long time. Twice the cost of smaller bottles, but you get 6 times the product.. Fish are healthy and happy. Doesnât cloud water, leaves it Christal clear and healthy.

The big bottle is a great deal
1000 ml bottle. I’ve used this for so many years. For the first time, instead of the 250 ml bottle, I bought the 1000 ml (about 34 ounces, almost a quart). size. Probably too much to buy, but four times the volume for less than twice the price, the big bottle was to good a deal to ignore. There is a newer product from Seachem, who wonderful HOB filters I use, and it is much less expensive per dose. great for hobbyists with many large tanks. But for my two tanks (60 and 29) getting an accurate dose might be difficult. I wonder why these chemicals are not available in tablet form, say one tablet per ten gallons?

Very cost-efficient water conditioner
I very recently purchased this water conditioner and found it to be pretty good in terms of effectiveness in relation to the total cost. You can instantly add water after adding the correct amount of conditioner for your tank size. Just make sure to use the measuring cap on the bottle and not a third-party measuring tool and it seems to be much more accurate that way. Pretty good water conditioner for all types of fish, big and small. I have used this conditioner on small tetra-type fishes, Oscar fish, and also catfish.Only reasoning for 4/5 stars is because different conditioners such as Prime seems to last longer as it is more concentrated but this product is much cheaper. So there are pros and cons to both.

The water conditioner worked great, making my Chicago tap water safe for my cichlids in minutes. The lid is labled for measurement, and the instructions are easy to understand.

Very very big bottle
Much bigger container than I thought. Now I won’t have to buy more for awhile. Worth it. Conditions the water during water changes in my fish tank. You have to have it in there or the fish will die so maybe like half a lid for 3 gallons.

I love the Aquasafe product – so simple to use. Just take out water from your tank, add this to the clean replacement water (specific directions on amounts on the pack for you), and throw back into the tank. No more gasping fish from too much chlorine, and a happy contented tank.The only downside is that as it removes the chorine and chloramine, there is a slight smell, but it is much better than the sanitised chlorine, and is easily dealable-with!Watch the top – you measure in the OUTER cap of the product and NOT the inner part. Makes it far less messy in the end, but a little confusing for us oldies to start with.

Tengo dos acuarios de 200 litros y lo uso cuando agrego agua para reponer la que se ha evaporado (cada diez dÃas) o bien, cuando limpio completamente la pecera (cada seis meses) y me ha funcionado muy bien.También agrego bacterias.Los platys se reproducen con singular alegrÃa.
