Tetra AquaSafe removes chlorine to make tap water safe for fish in your aquarium. Use it monthly to condition water and protect fish – works instantly. The powerful slime reduces stress. Treat water when setting up a new aquarium and with monthly partial water changes or evaporation replacement. Add 2 teaspoons (10 mL) for every 10 gallons (38 liters) of aquarium water. Make sure that replacement water is the same temperature as water in your aquarium. This is the only water conditioner I use for my fish tank. Does not cloud the water. The goldfish look nice and healty. It does a good job decontamination impurities. My water is clear. I use it each time I clean the aquarium. Its a good price. I order this all the time on Amazon for the price rather than the store.

Should have ordered Aquasafe Plus
I condition the tap water I add in the weekly 25 percent water changes of my 29 and 60 gallon freshwater tanks. I bought this thinking it was a better deal than the Tetra AquaSafe Plus I’ve been using for years. Until I read the labels. This 8 ounce bottle will treat 240 gallons of water, while the same size bottle of Plus does more and will treat 500 gallons. After using this, I’ll go back to buying the more concentrated Plus bottles.
