Perfect for the turtle I found while mowing!
I was mowing and found a baby box turtle on its side. I got a tank and needed a light to keep it warm being a turtle. This light fit my tank perfectly on the side. Leaving enough room for if the turtle gets hot it can move to a spot where they arenât light.Surprised but this light actually comes with a couple different ways to mount it up. It has the needed brackets and stuff you need to mount it on the top of the tank or side like I did.The power cord has the switch on it and gives you enough cord to reach the floor and the tank which mine is on a stand a good ways from the outlet but I still had enough.Itâs actually a very nice light, itâs not just something you get at Walmart. It has the correct bulb and stuff for reptiles.

Works Well but Needs Better Instructions
This is a super lightweight fixture, which I definitely appreciate. It came with hardware but no directions at all, so if you’re not naturally handy, good luck figuring it out without some trial and error. I was out here squinting at screws like I suddenly forgot how light bulbs work. My biggest gripe is the short power cord, because it really limits where you can place it in the tank setup. That said, once itâs up and running, it does the job and keeps my little dragon happy. Just be ready to improvise a little. I do not feel that this is the best quality for the price, it’s not very durable.

Very nice quality T5 reptile lamp with great UVB output
This is a very nice T5 lamp that I was able to set up effortlessly on my tortoise enclosure. This is operated by a simple on/off toggle switch so it requires an additional timer if you donât want to have to manually power it. I was able to utilize the screws and mount the brackets to the top of my enclosure so there is unobstructed exposure to the UVB output. This is priced appropriately for the quality of the lamp, so I can recommend this to others.

Good housing and great light output.
Seems to be working just fine. My snake basks and moves around more with this light along with her heat lamp. She seems to be more lively and taking food better, definitely digesting better as her stools are fully digested. Easy to set up and bright light output. The housing is durable and hoping the light will outlast the old socket bulbs.

Bulb went out quick, plastic was coming off into turtle enclosure
Update- i started finding little tiny plue plastic pieces everywhere in my turtle enclosure that he could have ate and been deadly to him. Theres a blue platic cover over the reflective side on the lamp thats been peeling off and going into my turtles tank. It wasnt in the instructions to be taken off and when i got it it looked like it was meant to be there. Not to mention its not even been on but a few hours every day for less than a month and the bulb already went out. This is just for UVB/uva light. Not a heat lamp. It does put off the slightest bit of heat but not enough to be considered a heat source. My florida box turtle loves it. He’s a hatchling and has been coming out alot more. It’s great for his little shell. It was extremely easy to set up. Just put the 2 arms in, and they fit basically any tub, aquarium, whatever your reptile is in. This light is going to make for a happy healthy turtle.

Works great
Solid kit for a 40-gallon reptile setup. Bulbs run cool and provide good light distribution. The included fixture feels lightweight but worked without issues. Just make sure to check compatibility with your hood size before ordering.

good light, ok hardware
The light is bright but I wish the hardware was a little nicer. Once attached, it works well. The cord needs to be longer, especially for the size of the fixture.
