REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM
It’s works great and the bulb has lasted quite awhile. It’s easy to remove the bulb. Just make sure you remove the plastic on the inside of the reflector because I didn’t notice it and it welded itself to the inside and completely fell apart but that’s my fault. It’s a great light.

We bought this about 2 years ago and itâs done great! The light is still going and keeps the 4x2x2 enclosure well lit and does great or a snake!

Not reliable
Purchased this light 10 months ago. During that time it worked fine but every now and then it wouldn’t come on unless we jiggled the bulb, wiggled the cord etc. Now, 10 months later it is not working at all. I call b.s. on under a year’s worth of intermittent service.

I want to give this a 5 start review but I had to remove one because the bulb is really finicky. You have to turn it just right to the the bulb to come on and the slightest tap will make it shut off.Otherwise it’s really nice and just what we needed. I love being able to mount it to the top of our bearded dragons cage.I did have to use wire cutters to cut a hole in the top of the screen in order to be able to mount it though.

I got this for my bearded dragon and it works great! The size is huge! Almost takes up my whole enclosure which is 48â long. Has held up for about 2 months now with no issue. Never flickers or shuts off. Great value compared to other prices.

Great upgrade
I’ve always used the double lamp for my bearded dragons lighting and while this didn’t get rid of the second lamp, its length spreads out nicely over the tank so the entire tank is now lit! Looks awesome with a week set up terrarium. So far far the bulb has lasted on par with previously used ones and expected to far outlast. Don’t let the extra initial cost deter you on this upgrade… This is the cheaper option with less work and better visuals while keeping your pet healthy.
