Good quality terrarium light
This terrarium light arrived well-packaged, with the power cord cushioned in bubble wrap and the light itself secured in a plastic bag with two custom-cut styrofoam pieces that perfectly mimic the hood’s shape for great protection. It also came with two bags of mounting hardware, though I didn’t need them for my setup.My initial impression wasn’t great—I could hear the screws rattling around in the box, which made me worry the product was damaged. Thankfully, everything was intact and functional. The power cord is a sturdy three-prong adapter with a thick, reliable cord, though it’s a bit short, and the power switch is closer to the wall adapter than I’d prefer. The cord fits neatly into the side of the hood, which is a nice touch.The hood’s interior is highly shiny and reflective, maximizing light output. Setup was a breeze—just twist in the bulb and plug it in. The light stays cool, only slightly warmer than room temperature, even after being on all day, making it easy to adjust or move. It provides adequate lighting for a small terrarium, perfect for my needs.Overall, a solid product with minor packaging concerns but great performance and a good design.

Great Little UVB Light for Turtles
I keep turtles and every October I need to move them inside the house for the winter. Of course, each year I discover that some of the lights, pumps, filters, and heaters that seemed fine when I put them away in the spring don’t work properly anymore and I shop for replacements.I have two different types of turtles, aquatic turtles which require the 10.0 UVB light, and Eastern box turtles, which require the 5.0. I needed small lights that I could position above their basking areas alongside a heat lamp.These lights did the trick. They fit in a smaller space than the longer t5 lights that I’ve used in the past, giving me more options for their location. They seem very well made. The reflector is rigid and the cord is heavy gauge.They were pre-assembled with the light bulbs already installed, which took some of the pain out of the setup. The lights came with the necessary and hardware to install them.As of tonight, I am pleased to say that both of my turtles has been transferred into their winter habitats and are enjoying their new lights.

Perfect for smaller spaces!
This really small UVB light fixture and bulb set is perfect for smaller enclossures. The light is not super bright and is more like a warm color. It’s light enough to travel with so your baby gets the UVA and UVB rays he/she needs at all times.The only thing I’ve noticed I’d that the fixture sits loosely in the dome. When messing with it, the light will Flicker a bit.

My chameleons have approved it
I have had a lot of these since I keep a lot of reptiles so I appreciate the price on this one. The size is sufficient and when tested, the UVB is strong. Granted, they lose effectiveness over time so they need to be replaced regularly and I will buy this one again.

This is a solid light! Lightweight and durable, everything felt well made. I appreciate the cord is an adequate length for easy placement. Comes with everything you need for set up which is convenient.Accurate to the description but the light is a little more dim then expected but I am pairing this with another light and the two compliment each other quite nicely so I’m happy! Good product!
