Works great can be connected to others. Wish it came with a cap for the end so if you use it by itself. It doesn’t have an open end. I just put some electrical tape on it.

Good, simple, reliable reptile light that just works.
I wanted a reptile light that did Not have a timer built in, and this one is perfect. I have my stuff set up on Alexa to go on and off, and the ones with a built in timer virtually never work right if the power is interrupted in any way, ether by Alexa cutting the power to the smart plug, or by our frequent power fluctuations do to bring in a rural, more remote area. This one has proven to be as reliable as you can get, and if the power is interrupted it goes right back to being on or off like it should be according to the schedule set up with Alexa. Installation was as easy as it gets, just plug it in to your choice of outlet, power strip, or smart plug. The light does output UV according to my test card, (be sure and remove the blue film from the reflector before use), and the light is plenty bright. I think that this is a reasonable value for the miner, and was exactly what I needed.

Quality is ok but not great. Take off the blue sticker!!
This reptile light looks like the pictures. The instructions arenât very good, especially since it doesnât mention anything about removing the blue sticker from the inside of the reflector. I initially thought the blue âstickerâ was the color of the reflector, so I left it on. When I tested the UVB output it was minimal, but once I removed the sticker the output was similar to other reptile lights. The quality is worse than another light I have that was approximately the same price, so I think itâs expensive for the quality. However, it does provide enough UVB for my reptile dragon at 8 inches above his cage so it works. I just donât expect the bulb to last very long.

You get what you pay for
It had a blue film on the inside like the other reviews said when I pulled it off it peeled the Chrome off of the inside of the fixture in some places. We have a male panther chameleon. He was acting sluggish. So I added his old 24 in fixture from his previous enclosure. And then he became more active. I am Going to assume that it’s the bulb that it came with so now we’re going to order a different one. In the end had I bought the name brand fixture I would have spent the same amount of money.

Nice lamp for reptiles
This lamp is perfect for putting it over a tank. Itâs not heavy and easy to place. It gives you two methods to attach it, to the tank mesh and on the wall. It came with the necessary hardware to do so. The bulb is easy to take out and replace.FYI remember to take the blue wrapping off the fixture to expose the mirrored surface behind the bulb to scatter the light. I stupidly forgot and turned the lamp on for a little while. The bulb heated up and when I peeled off the blue film, it stuck & took small areas of the mirrored coating with it. ð¤¦ð»ââï¸I like that the cord is thick and heavy duty, itâs long and has a shut off switch on it. It doesnât have a timer & thatâs ok for our needs. As for durability, not sure since I just got this and will report back on bulb life.

It’s bright
This is a lightweight lamp that comes well packaged. I am currently using it for my blue death feigning beetles. It provides a cool, bright, white light, and I believe that they will benefit from having access to UV rays. I peeled off the blue reflector right away. The light feels sturdy in that nothing is loose or wiggly, but I would hate to drop it on a hard floor. It is quite lightweight, and I don’t know how well it would withstand knocks. It’s functional in that it brightly illuminates the tank. I like the simple switch because I can use a quality timer with it. I have only used it for a few days, but so far so good! I do wish the materials were a bit heavier/thicker.

Excellent UVB Light for Reptiles
This Homnebila T5 UVB light fixture works perfectly for my bearded dragons’ terrarium. The 10.0 bulb provides strong UVB and UVA, which is very important for their health. It was easy to set up and fits well in the tank. My reptile seems more active and happy since switching to this light. Great value for the price!
