Affordable UVB tubes that fit standard fixtures and work well
These T5 UVB tubes fit my existing 22″ fixtures without issue and have been working reliably so far. I like that they come as a 2-pack, since UVB needs to be changed out regularly. Installation was straightforwardâjust like any other fluorescent tubeâand once seated properly, theyâve been running smoothly.The bulbs did flicker a bit right at startup, but that settled quickly and theyâve stayed consistent since. They arenât quite as bright or long-lasting as the top brand-name reptile bulbs, but for the price theyâre a good value. They put out steady UVA/UVB and help ensure my bearded dragon gets the lighting he needs for health and color.These are excellent for regular use in smaller enclosures or as backups to keep on hand. Given how important consistent UVB is for reptiles, having spares is always smart, and this 2-pack makes that affordable.Overall, theyâre a practical, cost-effective option that does the job, even if they donât match the performance or longevity of higher-end brands.

Produces UV and fits 24â hood (22â bulb)
I had concerns about trying these, as Iâve had other âoff brandâ bulbs start smoking and catch on fire. But so far these have been working well. They fit perfectly in my high output T5 24â ReptiZoo hoods and produce UV that is measurable with a UV sensor. Iâve only been using them for a few weeks. Will update review later regarding durability and lifespan.

Great as backups
These are about as good as any of the other off brand of reptile T5s. They don’t hold up as long as the name brand (the one that rhymes with barcade-yah), nor do they produce as much UV, but these are a reasonable price to keep on hand as a backup. I have several stashed away in my reptile emergency bug-out kits (highly recommended), and a few in my general backup supplies. It’s a great way to fill the gap between old and new name brand bulbs.

Not An Accurate Fit, And They Jingle (probably broken)
These T5 24 inch reptile bulbs donât fit in my comparable light fixture. I definitely ordered the right size and type, they look identical to the bulb I took out, but with a precisely fitting bulb, close isnât good enough. I trued to engage the bulb prior to twisting, but it 1/16 inch longer, and can not be slid into place. Furthermore; both bulbs in this two pack jingle when moved from side to side, so even if I could install them, a jingly bulb is usually the sign of a broken bulb. Since they donât fit in my fixture, I canât actually confirm they are broken.

Tortoise enclosure
These bulbs fit my existing 24″ (22″ lamp) T5 light fixtures. I appreciate that it comes as a pair – I connect two fixtures together in sequence to ensure UVB coverage across their entire 8′ indoor enclosure, so I always need two bulbs at once. They flickered when I first turned them on, but are now going strong. Not quite as bright as my brand-name bulbs, but a good value for the price. I’ve been using them for approximately 3 weeks now, and they’re still going strong.

If you have a reptile, you need a UVB light like this to keep your animal healthy. It fits a normal florescent fixture. It is good at enhancing the colors in my cage, reaching all the corners. It’s doing its job.

Uvb tubes
The uvb tubes fit the standard light fixtures that take the 22 inch tubes/bulbs. It works reliably so far and does its job for the little reptiles. This fits my 23 inch uvb light fixture.
