My two degus just LOVE it
I have two DEGU girls.Once I bought these lava bites in a petshop. You should see how happy they were! They nibbled it really fast.This amazed me because they never touched any other mineral stone. They just don’t like it.Unfortunately I could not find these Bites in amy petshop in Moscow since then, so I ordered it from Amazon, and again, my degus were really happy!I do highly recommend this to anyone to has pet rodents, especially degus or chinchillas. These Lava Bites are great in maintaining the pet’s health and keeping their teeth and claws in good condition. And the little guys seem to enjoy it immensely!

My 2 rats have no interest in these, but they are worth it for the price if your pet likes them.They are sturdy and it comes in a pack of 3. I might try stringing them up as a toy, maybe that will interest them more.

Fast shipment, but other issues…
I liked that it was one day shipping and the price was not much more than purchasing in store. The things I didn’t like was the paint was chipped off a little on each lava bite, it did have a stronger smell to it, but not like the ones I’ve seen in the past or the ledges. The packaging was open on the side and the mailer had holes in it. So it was an OK purchase.

I buy these for my chinchillas to chew on and they absolutely love them! Amazon had the absolute best price at the time of my purchase of any of the sites I would normally use for my chinchillas supplies or treats. These are nice because your animal will have a FUN time chewing them and they will also dull their teeth so they do not over grow!

These stones are not nearly as solid as I expected. Two of the three in the package arrived broken but the package doesnât show signs of rough handling. Iâd say they are just fragile which is disheartening and theyâre supposed to be chewed

Hamsters love them
I can confidently say they have helped my hamsters wear their teeth down, however (our female syrian is a little crazy) she is chewing through one of these in 3 hours. The two males seem to enjoy them but don’t completely destroy them, so if your pet is a big chewer i would go for something more durable
