suction cup does work
This has worked great in the shower. Suction cup a little tricky – you have to place it on the wall, then attach the other stuff. Not intuitive and better (larger) instructions on how to do this would be helpful as at first it seems this thing is not going to stick to anything. We are happy although I”m not sure about the bird 🙂

I bought this suction cup perch for my conure to give him a view out the window, and he absolutely loves it! The design is smart â the perch is a comfortable size for his feet, and the textured surface gives him a good grip. Itâs a fantastic way to let birds enjoy sunlight and stimulation from outside.The reason Iâm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the suction cups could be a bit stronger. They work well on a clean glass surface, but I found that I really had to press them firmly and even moisten them slightly to keep the perch secure. After that, it held up well, even with some hopping and wing flapping.

Crashed to the floor with my little bird on it immediately!
DO NOT PURCHASE! I am actually quite shocked about the good reviews, which is why I bought this. I’ve had birds and used perches for over 10 years. I know how to prepare the wall and the suction to adhere safely and properly. I did so with this one, tested it to ensure it would stick and within 30 seconds of placing my small bird on it it crashed to the floor and she went with it, injuring her chest. It also has a terrible chemical smell. This design is terrible. You need to spend the time and money on quality products, use a GOOD suction mechanism, and do significant user testing on non-live animals. I’ve received my money back from Amazon and thrown this away so no one else may end up with it.

I have a bird of my own and he likes to take showers, I got this and he practically lives in there now(not actually). The sturdiness of the suction cups strength is amazing and to clean it I donât have to remove the suction cup just the perch itself.

Does it’s job
I couldn’t figure out how to attach this to the window at first and then realized that you have to take the whole thing apart, wet the silicone and stick that to the spot on the window of your choice. Then put all the other stuff on it. My birds refuse to sit on it but that’s an entirely different issue.

Hard to make contact
The suction mechanism can be quite difficult to secure contact with, even if you wet it. It’s fine once you can get it to stick.

The suction works well and the perch has a nice grip for my birdâs feet. The only drawback is that it can get knocked off easily if you bump it. I did once and it startled my bird. That said, itâs still a great way to help your bird get hydration, especially when theyâre dealing with pin feathers. Overall, a useful and handy accessory. And our Jack Jack enjoys showers
