I had been wearing a petzl vertex for about a year and wasn’t overwhelmingly impressed by it, it pinched at the temples and just felt to be a bit awkward while climbing, the suspension system never seemed to stay setup, chin strap would loosen up, etc. just general things i found annoying. Talked with a guy who had been in a studson for a similar amount of time and gave it a gleaming endorsement so I decided to give it a shot.Initially I questioned the cost but after about 9 months in it I’m confident it’s worth every cent. My first impression was of the sense of quality the thing carries. It really is more helmet than hardhat and it’s a distinction I’ve appreciated more and more as I’ve put it to the test. It really is comfortable too, it took a few days to adjust and find the sweet spot with the height of the rear support but that’s the only thing of note really.Tldr: i was skeptical, it’s totally worth it. Super comfortable, light, adjustable, reliable helmet.

I would buy this again and recommend to other women.
This fits nicely when you adjust the brow bar and pull down the ratchet mechanism in the back. The chin strap is reasonably comfortable, but it takes some practice to learn the clip so it doesn’t slide open when wearing. The front clips for the light came out a couple times in my bag, but that’s NOT an issue once the light is firmly in place. I would buy this again. I appreciate the color choices too.

Works with miller halo style hood adapter
Extremely light and comfortable, works well with miller halo for welding hoods, actually prefer it to my old MSA for this, viewing area is exactly where it should be without modification to the hood or hard hat. stores medical data and chin strap connection is pretty neat magnets pop right on but has to be pinched to slide out, id buy it again if i had to

Bulky!
I have a larger head and ended up returning this Hardhat, it felt like I was going to hit my head on the ceiling just walking around the house. Overall the quality was too notch, just not for my large skull. I ended up buying a Milwaukee and wear it daily.
