I’ve been buying these for years!
These Stewart Freeze-Dried Wild Salmon treats are fantastic! Ingredients are as simple as it getsâjust salmonâand made in the USA, which gives me peace of mind about what Iâm feeding my dog. Theyâre high-protein, grain-free, and perfect for a healthy treat, meal topper, or used to help disguise giving oral medication. The pieces are easy to break apart to accommodate any size dog. The sturdy resealable tub keeps them fresh and makes storage super convenient.If youâre looking for a genuinely nutritious, single-ingredient treat, I highly recommend these!

Great treat for Dogs — and cats!
I buy in bulk (the 9.5 Ounce Resealable Tub) since my dog and cat both LOVE these treats. A bit stinky (salmon flavored), but not too bad — and the pets – even finicky ones — chow down on these like they are going out of style! A bit pricey, but the tub lasts a long time and worth it for a healthy, easy to feed, treat.UPDATE: Contrary to what others are saying, the tub is 3/4 full (not 1/3) and the pieces are quarter sized (see photos), with some being smaller (broken bits) with only a bit of dust in the tub that is great to use as a meal topper.

Pup loves them
My dogs day treat. She will literally do ANYTHING if she thinks sheâll get one of these. Weâve been using them to get her to ignore the neighbors dog that runs at the fence. Weâre almost done with this batch and itâs been working. These are a must. Single ingredient. A little crunchy which my dog loves. They smell like fish so I assume they taste the same.

Disappointed
This batch was disappointing. It is basically dust and tiny pieces. Not sure if itâs the manufacturer or amazons handling, but this container is bad.

Pretty good
I will start by saying that I love the beef liver version of these treats. I decided to try the salmon, as my pup tends to need variety, especially during training. These are a little harder to split than the liver treats, as the pieces vary significantly in size and shape. My pup does appear to still enjoy the taste, but I still find she responds better to normal beef liver. They also tend to leave a little bit of an oily feeling behind, which is odd, but I guess should be expected with fish. I think overall, I will choose to stick with the beef liver or chicken treats in the future

We have a grooming salon and all the dogs LOVE this! Simple ingredients with no fillers so is healthy for the dogs in moderation. We will continue to repurchase!

Animals like them, smell like fish
Obviously, to say the freeze dried salmon smells like fish may seem a little stupid, but they REALLY smell like fish in an unpleasant and strong way when you open the container. When we were training our dog, Iâd often keep some treats in a bag in my coat when we went on walks, but I definitely would not recommend doing so with these things because I would guess that smell would linger and the crowds of dogs at the dog park might follow closely while the humans might make efforts to stay away. Itâs hard to give an exact review since my dog and cat didnât say a whole lot about these. They ate them and both knew exactly where the container was stored and often indicates that they would like some, so I assume thatâs a good rating from them. They are pretty tough, so if you think you might want to break up some of the larger chunks, youâll need to cut them.

Strong smell! Great for training!
My dg will listen to all of his commands as soon as he sees or most likely smells these treats. I feel good to give him all natural and healthy treats. My trainer uses this brand as well. She had the beef but Iâm using the Salmon ever since his diet is Pet Plate beef and venison. I put a few pieces in a zip lock bag when going on walks. Other dogs try to get into my pockets ð. I havenât met a dog yet that doesnât want these. They do have a very strong smell but itâs salmon so it makes sense. Great product!

When opened it had this weird smell, not a fishy salmon smell at all, it was more like a chemical smell. My dog ended up trying a couple of pieces and then within a day he was having diarrhea and this is the only thing different in his diet. Needlesss to say we threw the container out as you cannot return it.
