Fantastic cat wheel – but wish solid carpet was an option
What a fantastic cat wheel! Although this is twice the price of One Fast Cat it is much more than twice the value. Every piece is precisely machined, the wood is solid and beautiful and the hardware is sturdy. Having an easy to follow YouTube video for assembly was such a wonderful bonus. It took a while to assemble but it was so easy to follow the video, it was fun. I loved that they included the rubber mallet, a ratcheting screw driver, sandpaper for finishing any rough spots and everything else you need plus extras to put it together. Only 1 of my 7 cats would use my One Fast Cat wheel because it is so loud and flimsy that it scares most of my cats. This one is solid, silent and doesnât wobble even on carpet. I have no doubt more of my cats will start using this one, especially once they notice the fish!Update: I’ve had the cat wheel for a year and a half. I have it in my bedroom and they run on it most of the night, but it’s so quiet, it doesn’t keep me up. I’m looking at buying a second one because my cats fight over who gets to be on the wheel. I recently removed the tubing and bought the solid carpet. I wish the company would offer an option to buy the wheel with just solid carpet. The cats got bored with the tubing and fish pretty quickly and they didn’t like the feel of it on their feet, so they would run on the side of the wheel to avoid it. It’s over $100 to buy the solid carpet, so an option to purchase with that would be really nice. The water in the tubing evaporates over time and it’s a pain to refill it. This is still by far the best cat wheel sold and my cats love it.

worth the price
First of all, this cat wheel is silent, which is important to me. Second, it has a fun feature that my cats love: a water-filled tube with a little fish for them to chase. Assembly was easy – the instructions were very well done, and I am impressed with the high quality. There is absolutely no wobbling or shaking. This thing is solid. This is a wheel that looks great in my living room (it is huge, but with four cats my house is dedicated to cat stuff anyway). One of my cats uses it every day; the other three are curious but haven’t gotten into it yet. Even so, I am thrilled with this product and this company.

Instant fun!
It took me and my husband less than 90 min to put it all together once we put our kittens in another room, the manual was useful and cute. There is also a very helpful how to assemble video on YouTube any confusion is quickly clarified. There were extra parts but didnât need them. The tools included were surprisingly nice quality (you will still want a power screwdriver). The amount of detail put into the wood to help guide the assembly made all the difference and was a great help.Once we let our 4 month kittens free, one was running instantly. The other waited until the first was panting to take over (cats pant who knew!). They found the fish on their own and zigzagged their way after it! Itâs been a few hours and they each gone on it multiple times, sometimes together.The sound is minimal, there is no added or subtracted sound to the video so itâll give a good idea of how quiet it really is.The gaps between the base and the wheel is tiny, our 4 month kittens canât get caught. The wheel and base a well built and feel sturdy. There was no indication of wobble or bouncing but still easy for the 4-5lbs kittens to use easily. We do clip the their claws every week but we waited until after they had their runs to clip them for the week. Neither got caught nor gave me any worries. One did adorable try to catch hold of the fish and then fell from the top of the circle when her sister continued the run. No issues and they just kept running.The fish and water were easy enough to add. The fish tail can get it jammed a little if it spins the other way but itâs easy enough to dislodge with spinning the wheel (no need to unhook the pipe and risk a leak). The kittens found it pretty quickly and were chasing it within 2 minutes of seeing the wheel for the first time.Overall, I highly recommend it. If something pops up later, Iâll edit this to address it as weâve had this built for less than 12 hours.

The Best Cat Wheel Available
Folks, this is the cat wheel to buy; it makes the other cat wheels I considered seem cheap and dangerous by comparison. This thing is a dream to build – the instructions are not only clear, but also cute and fun. The wooden wheel pieces are beautifully engineered, fit perfectly, and feel very sturdy. The wheel is big enough for two cats (mine are 8lbs & 16lbs) to comfortably fit inside at the same time. Training the cats to use the wheel was surprisingly easy – after just a few sessions of bribing them into walking slowly with treats, they were eager to jump in by themselves to chase the fish in the tube (very cute). It’s been about a month now and I’m very satisfied with the quality of the wheel – the action is smooth, it’s very quiet, and I have no doubt that it will last a very long time. Just seeing my sweet kitty be able to run and sprint in ways that an apartment could never accommodate is worth the cost.

My cat loves it! She was already trying to use it while I was putting it together. She weighs 10 pounds and is able to get it going but she uses it mainly for walking while looking at the fish.Another review mentions something about the carpet making their cats legs break lol I rarely trim my cays nails and she has no problems.Another review mentions it squeaking so loud the neighborhood can hear it lol well my cat has been using it every day since I got it in Feb of 2024 and it’s April 2025. We have a nightly routine where i comb or pet her while she walks for about a half hour lol she’s constantly baiting me into petting her during her walks lol and not a single squeaking sound over a year. It is very well built!I read before buying that if your cat Is the type to sneak attack your feet when you walk by then it’ll probably like having a cat wheel but it’s hard to say since cats are so tricky to please sometimes.I got the large one for my 1.5 year old cat and it would be too big for a kitten. The other reviews weren’t being fair so I had to clear things up.

The most important thing is the fish in the tube, which I wasn’t even thinking about; but this is the main reason my cat uses this thing constantly. He wants that fish! It is also really well made, almost completely silent, and huge for my big Siberian cat. (I could comfortably sit in it and read a book). It is a bit of a process to build but my husband and I took turns and got it built in 1 day. (We used the youtube video, which I highly recommend as the instructions are a little confusing. Oh also there is no gap between the wheel and the base so it is safer for their paws; and the carpet pieces are removeable for easy cleaning. They really thought of everything and put so much thought into the whole design.

Excellent cat wheel, so glad I went with this brand and the larger model! This isnât pressboard but beautiful birch! Itâs incredibly well made with high quality material, I put this together by myself and Iâm a senior, in my 70âs! I wish Iâd know about the YouTube video, I struggled putting the rings together, but after all, I did it on my own and I got the job done with the help of my 2 cats. Thereâs a bit of a learning curve for the cats, but they seem to love it and are on it at all hours, the fish is a win win! They need to learn how to share, however! Thank you for a great product!
