Customers say
Customers find the bird feeder well-designed and appreciate its functionality, particularly noting that the baffler works perfectly and keeps doves and pigeons out. However, the size receives mixed feedback, with some finding it appropriate while others say it’s too small for birds. The build quality and durability are concerns, with reports of flimsy construction and damage from squirrels tearing it up. While some customers say it’s good value for money, others find it cheaply made for the price. The squirrel protection aspect is mixed, with some customers reporting it keeps out squirrels while others say it’s not squirrel-proof at all.

Beautiful Bird Feeder! BEST SQUIRREL DETTERENT!
I love this! Just received it, filled it up and put it out for breakfast. I took a bird feeder down yesterday that the rascally squirrel dismantled. This is smaller than I thought it would be but, it is prettier than I thought it would be too. We will see how well this works keeping the squirrels out. They get fed too but the birds need their own space and food!Update 6/7/25 , months after purchase. This bird feeder is my number one for squirrel deterrent. Though I feed the squirrels peanuts and corn cobs, I try desperately to keep them away from the bird food. With all of my other feeders the squirrels have managed to lift the top of the house even though a button should be depressed to lift the lid up. This bird feeder is like fort knox. There is no way to open the top unless I apply moderate force to pop the clasp. So, because of the fence around it, the squirrels can’t access the food where the birds do, and because of the clasped lid on top they can pop it open and empty the column. BEST SQUIIRREL DETERRENT for many reasons! Thank you! I can’t find a larger one under your company page. I’d buy that one too!

SO FAR SO GOOD
I have been plagued by squirrels raiding my so-called “squirrel proof” feeders for years. I’ve spent a considerable amount on replacing old with new feeders to no avail. I must say, now it’s only been two weeks, but so far this feeder has successfully warded off my pesky invaders. I love the style and efficiency of the design. We have received a substantial amount of rain and the feed has stayed dry and flaky. Try it – I believe you will concur with my feelings for this product. To add to the product it is most affordable.

Good but a bit small
Cute and functional. Keeps the squirrels away and the little sparrows enjoy it. It is a bit small – doesn’t hold much bird feed but overall a good purchase.

Squirrels ruin everything
I liked this bird feeder and for months the squirrels couldnât get into it. It was great! Then I came around the corner to see a squirrel sitting on top, lid open and feasting away on bird seed. So disappointed. Iâll have to zip tie it or something. Ugh squirrels ruin everything!!!

Perfect for small birds and NOT red squirrels
This feeder is absolutely perfect for small birds! It easily holds sunflower hearts or small seeds, which my finches and other small birds love. It’s the smallest cage I’ve found that still allows the birds to enter easily, but keeps out pesky red squirrels. This is the 3rd feeder I’ve tried and I finally found one that actually lives up to its promises.

Works for my backyard and war against the squirrels!
There is not a tray at the bottom of the feeder for easy access but I am ok with that since I have another feeder with such access. The rose color adds to the greenery of the backyard which I like. I also like how easy it is to refill and the lid to close – I am in a war with squirrels which I swear are getting smarter about distroying my feeders!

Squirrels are smart yo
Cute but did not keep out those pesky squirrels they just shook it till all the seed was on the ground.Ultimately to keep the squirrels away from your feeder#1: don’t hang a bird feeder from a tree.If you’re going to do that you need to put one of those saucer like things on top.#2: must be 10 ft from any jumping surface that includes fence chairs bird baths.#3: if you have your bird feeder on a pole you need to get one of those baffle things it works they have them at Walmart they’re like 10 bucks.I’m sure you can find someone on Amazon too.

Good Enough with Some Hacks
After owning this feeder for 4 years, I am reasonably happy with it, overall. However, let me warn you about the problems. The squirrels never got the memo about being “squirrel proof”. In fits of frustration squirrels chewed off the plastic sitting posts and initially pried open the loosely fitting latch on the top. For four years I’ve been using an additional little clip made out of a piece of coat hanger to double secure the top. Honestly, this has worked fine and now the feeder is “squirrel proof” — absent several bird standing pegs.All-weather should mean all weather. recently I was cleaning out seed remnants from the bottom and noticed that the lower cap on the tube was rusting through. The platform is still there to keep the seed in, but just one more nuisance.All-in-all, it worked well after the additional homemade squirrel latch was added.

I can’t understand the negative reviews left for this, especially the ones that claim it is flimsy and that squirrels will be able to prise off the lid. The metal cage and the tube are both very sturdy and well made and the lid fits so tightly that I had to use some force to open it. I have many varieties of small birds in my garden and lately a squirrel has been visiting every day and eating lots of the sunflower seeds that I filled my old feeder with. About an hour ago, I put up the new feeder – the birds found it very quickly and soon found that they could get inside the cage. Then the squirrel arrived. He tried every way he could think of to get at the seeds and after a few minutes, hs gave up, returning a bit later for another try and this time gave up very quickly. I know others have said that a squirrel will always find a way in, so I’m being realistic about it, but so far, so very good!

Not robust enough for my needs. Too fragile. But otherwise a good idea – could be made stronger;

Looks good but very few smaller birds appear to like it, It sure does keep the Jays and such out. I guest a bird learning curve.

Good quality feeder however small parrots manage to hang onto the cage and pock their head through to get a feed. I fixed the problem by fitting extra wires. Smaller birds love it.
