These are nice well made bowls. Good quality. However, I only gave them 4 stars because they would not stay fastened in the cage. The kittens constantly upset them. I replaced them with a weighted bowl which works much better.

Upon receiving this item, I was excited. It seemed well made, being metal and of a simple design. However, I quickly realized it was not exactly what I was hoping for. The bowls just rest in the metal loop, and even though you can press them down, if you press to hard the weld between the loop and the hangar will snap and become useless. This happened to one of the two that I purchased. Also, they are extremely easy to bump and knock over, spilling water or food all over the inside of the crate. I ended up zip tying down our remaining bowl and it seems to be working fine. Our dog tries to “bury” uneaten food, so she kept knocking over her bowl. We ended up switching to a regular dog dish and she has not had problems with it. While it is a satisfactory product for our needs, if you just need something to hang on the inside of a crate and hold water or food and your pet is calm enough, then this will work great for you. They are secure enough when filled with liquid or solids that they will not upturn when in use by your critter.

The bowls are great but…. Conure and cockatiel…
Items received. As described. We bought these to replace plastic water bowls. Looking forward to a long future with these more hygienic water bowls for our birds. I ordered two, one for our conure and one for our cockatiel.The bowl fits without being unstable in the place of the old bowl. However, our cockatiel is still “afraid” of the new addition to his cage. But he will get used to it. We will have to convert him from his old plastic container. But I think it will be fine. Since we first adopted him, he has gotten used to a new cage and new bowls already. And everything has worked out well.Our conure…. The bowl fits his cage without being unstable. However, the jury is out as to his appreciation of this new drinking bowl. He continued to fight with it for the entirety of day one. We will see how this goes over the next week though. Since he he thinks he is Samson, anything he can lift up is fair game for being tossed around, in or out of the cage. He can pick this bowl up easily with his beak and throw it down like he is a pro wrestler. Over the course of day one, he Continued to dump the water out that was replaced. I was worried that he would not stop but then suddenly he did and he sat atop the bowl while it was on the bottom of his cage and he drank water!!! We praised him so much. But shortly after that he began the wrestling match again. We are going to continue to work with him but I may end up purchasing a larger bowl one size up so that he cannot just pick up and throw around :). It is no fault in the bowl or the maker. Our conure just likes to be fiesty with new things sometimes.

great for a small dog’s crate
I bought one of these last year for my 5.5 lbs chihuahuas’s crate and now I am buying another! She has two crates, one in our room and one in the living room. I am finally getting one of these for her living room crate so that her other water bowl is not just sitting on the ground. I am excited because this item has a few features I really love:*easy to clean*stays stable in the holder and comes out with ease when you want*takes up very little space*really simple design*stainless steelI have another in-crate waterdish that has so many more features (silicone, folds up, screws onto crate, bowl twists off holster) and I love this one waaaaaaaay more.Would buy again (obviously), would recommend to a friend. 5 stars.

Disgusting and Dangerous
This bowl is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures, but I guess thatâs my fault for not reading the dimensions. It clips in my dogâs cage nicely, and it worked for a few weeks. But even after cleaning it daily it started to get this disgusting film and what looked like mold or rust. I am no longer using it because I donât want my dog ingesting that. Waste of money.

The 10-ounce cup is the perfect size for cockatiels. They came in secure packaging and were not damaged. I can’t speak about the durability yet but the cups and cup holders seem of good quality.

Was great for the kitten cage when I was fostering kittens. They were always spilling their water dish so I ordered this. At first one of them hissed at it and attacked it and managed to knock the hooks off the side of the cage (big mess). To solve this issue I took a hair elastic and secured it on the outside of the cage. Hasnât moved since and easy to remove to refill & clean regularly.
