Heavenly Lavender Aroma, Shiny Soft Hair
I have just started using bar shampoos and conditioner. Tidier shower shelves, easy to travel with, and no plastic waste.I always find more shampoo bars than conditioner bars at the store and am constantly on the look out for conditioner bars. I love the smell of lavender and decided to give this a try.This bamboo Earth brand Conditioner bar has a heavenly clean and natural Lavender aroma right out of the box. When the bar is rubbed into wet hair after shampooing (I used my regular shampoo) it worked easily into my hair (fine 5b wavy texture, color treated) and rinsed out easily.It left my hair shiny, easy to manage, no frizz, and my wave was well defined not flat. And OMG the Lavender aroma has stayed with me all day.I would definitely recommend. I will be looking for the shampoo bar so that I can try the two together next time I need to purchase shampoo.

This bar does smell good and is at an ok price point…. it will definitely last a while. My hair is indeed clean! But it didn’t lather very well at all, and it took a long time to feel like I adequately shampoo my thin hair

Smells fabulous
I love how shampoo bars are so environmentally friendly. I got this shampoo for two reasons: first the lavender rice ingredients are very hydrating and nourish your hair and it is the perfect set for traveling. I wanted to try it out before putting it in my toiletry bag. I just washed my hair and the shampoo lathers really well, and rinses clean. I can’t wait to try out their other products!

Hard to Use
I really wanted to like this conditioner bar, but was disappointed. First, It’s called a lavender bar, but I don’t smell any lavender! Maybe the shea butter and coconut oil overpower it? Also, it’s very hard to get any of the product into my hair. The photo shows the bar the 3rd time I tried to use it (I even rubbed my fingers on the edge to be sure the product wasn’t left on my hands before taking the photo); with wet hands and rubbing it around in my hands for about 45 seconds, this is all that came off for me to put on my hair. I also tried just rubbing it on my hair–as you do with shampoo bars–and all it did was tangle my hair. I just can’t get enough of the product off the bar to actually use in my hair, and my hair doesn’t feel soft at all. I like that it’s made with natural ingredients, but this is a miss for me.
