The So Phresh MultiCat Ultra Clumping Grass Seed Litter has powerful clumping capabilities that immediately combat odor in the air so your home stays fresh. What makes this litter so special just isn’t the fact that it is made with 100% US sourced, grass seed. The superabsorbent and strong clumping properties, combined with it being an earthconscious alternative to clay, is a rare formula to find in a litter, especially one made without chemicals. Light in weight but strong in performance, our litter will exceed your expectations at trapping odor and keeping the waste contained in one tight, noncrumbling ball that won’t stick to the sides of the litter box or break. So at the end of the day, you can breathe with some ease knowing you are scooping sustainably without sacrificing on performance.

Customers say
Customers find this cat litter effective, noting it clumps well and has no odor, while being lightweight and easy to sweep up. They appreciate its quality, comparing it favorably to clay alternatives, and one customer mentions it keeps things fresh in tiny apartments. While some customers say it’s worth the price, others find it expensive. The litter has a trackability issue, as it tends to spread beyond the litter box.

So Phresh Extreme Clumping Unscented Grass Seed Cat Litter
This is another litter recommended by my cat rescue daughter. Easy to handle and scoop and cats like it too. No smells is you scoop daily (as you should anyway) but if no time, I scoop and add some baking soda and mix it in and it stays fresh longer. I use this one and the walnut one for the cats who like each kind the est. I have several cats.

LOVE this litter!
I grew up having cats my entire life. Iâm 33 now and living alone with my 2 year old cat, Trixie. I was using OkoCat wood litter in a normal pan litter box. But last year I ordered a PetKit Pura Max automatic litter box. After doing a lot of research I found the Pura Max seemed like the best option for my cat. I despise clay cat litter. I hate the smell of clay litter, itâs heavy, itâs so dusty (even the ones that say 99% dust free). I joined a group on FB for the Pura Max to see what others used for litter. I discovered from my research that the OkoCat wood litter did not perform well in the Pura. So I tried this unscented grass-seed litter I originally purchased at PetCo. The smell alone is great, itâs super light weight, and no dust! It works amazing in the Pura Max, doesnât stick to the bottom liner. I also tried a walnut shell litter that stuck to the bottom and deteriorated the bottom liner and I had to order a new liner for the Pura litter box. I briefly switched to a different kind because the grass-seed attracted sugar ants and I had ants for 3/4 months in the beginning of this year (2023). I live in a studio apartment that had just been renovated in 2020 before I moved in, so to be fair there were a lot of little nooks that hadnât been sealed, thus prone to ants, etc. Once I had maintenance at my apartment complex seal the hole where the ants were coming from that took care of the issue, and I switched back to the grass-seed with no problems! I guess the grass-seed litter has a small sugar content in it making this litter valuable to sugar ants. Other than that itâs been great. I canât say enough about this brand litter. I have not tried the lightly scented one, I donât like scents in general (unless theyâre of natural origin). *not sponsored, but sponsor me*

Great Litter – With Some Adjustments
My cat has a very sensitive respiratory system and cannot do clay litter. I prefer clumping and didnât want to use crystal litter after trying it. This litter has been great for the past 4 years! For odor, I use charcoal granules and mix them in with the litter. This does the trick for controlling any odor (it does okay on its own but this is much better). It clumps just fine and I donât smell anything with daily scooping. When I had two cats, I did need to scoop twice daily to to prevent odor (they preferred to share a box instead of using multiple). This litter is not dusty at all and smells natural and clean. Be sure not to get the scented version if your cat is sensitive to smells – the bags look almost the same. Itâs also important to note that this litter is very lightweight, so price comparison by weight is not all that useful. I find that with one small cat that used a medium sized litter box, I use 1 bag per month. I fill up the box with about 59-60% of the bag, then use the rest to refill as needed when scooping. This may vary if your cat needs more than 2-3 inches of litter or has a bigger box.I find that this litter tracks an average amount, similar to clay. I was able to get rid of this issue with a proper litter mat. I use a rubber mat with lots of grooves. I find itâs more effective with this litter over the trapper-style mats and also easier to clean. This litter is compostable! If you are into composting, this litter can be composted for NON-FOOD items such as cut flower gardens, flower beds, your yard, etc. Note that pet waste should never be used in compost intended for edible gardens. With some small adjustments, this litter has been a great alternative to clay. I love how much lighter it is and no more dust!

Clumps well, isn’t dusty
I really like this stuff. It clumps even better than clay and isn’t very dusty. It does spread everywhere, but I feel like most litters do.

Works great, but expensive
No complaints about the litter, just the price. It is made of sorghum seed, so no clay. It tracks a little but not bad. Since it is made of seed it can get those pesky cupboard moths. It clumps well unless the cat pees a lot in one place (like at the edge of the pan) in which case it can be a little goopy but still scoopable. It is pretty expensive which is my only complaint. It is less dusty than the walnut shell litter I previously used. Overall I’d say it works well; better than other litters I have tried.

FAVORITE kitty litter
Almost afraid to review because I donât want a shortage. It is the absolute BEST in capturing the urine – no smells at all! It scoops so cleanly – helping it last FOREVER! Not like the standard chalky, powdery mess after a couple days even. We can just add to it every a couple times a month and itâs still fresh! We change the whole box every 7 or 8 weeks. We do scoop almost daily and we do use 2 boxes for 1 cat. It DOES track and come out of box, but only clean seeds. We have a small carpet outside the box that catches most of it and vinyl flooring so easy to sweep. If you have carpet it should vacuum easily, but if you freak out about tracking, than maybe this isnât for you. But Iâll gladly take the extra cleanup as a trade for no smells any day! It may seem pricier than others, but in the long run, since it lasts so long between full changes, I think weâre saving money.
