Easy to Understand and Fun
There are certainly plenty of snake books out there, but none as fun and easy to understand as reptile enthusiast Russ Case’s book, Snakes. As the editor-in-chief of REPTILES magazine and Reptiles USA, Case has shared his knowledge with many over the past two decades and he doesn’t disappoint in this great beginner’s book. From where to find your next snake down to the details of how to best care for it and what to feed it, this book offers beginners an easy look at what their new reptile pet needs and how to achieve it. The author’s voice is simultaneously informative and amusing all at once. Definitely a good read.

Great books for beginner reptile lovers!
This book is one of three written by Reptiles Magazine editor Russ Case. All three are extremely easy to read, full of useful information and a great introduction to the care & keeping of reptiles.My teenage son has read all three and the only problem now is choosing what pet to start with! I can highly recommend all three.

Snakes
This is an excellent book for children interested in snakes, but also for adults who just want a good, easy-to-read overview. Nice photographs, too. I bought this for my friend’s 9-year-old son. I also got him the author’s other children’s titles (“Turtles & Tortoises” and “Lizards”). This boy has lived in big cities all his life, and I thought he should learn about some creatures of the desert.
