Oh it is so small. My mistake. I didn’t realize it was so small. I’m gonna have to return this. It does appear to be a good and well made product, though.

This is the catâs meow!
Our cat loved this scratching ramp! I was a little skeptical at first, but it’s a total game-changer. He completely ignores his old, flimsy cardboard scratcher now and spends all his time on this. It’s super sturdy wood construction and the incline seems to be exactly what he wanted. Plus, the jute rope scratch surface has held up beautifully to his daily abuse. Our furniture is finally safe. This is a must-buy for any cat owner!

Smaller than it looks
Let’s face it: a well used scratcher like this is going to get wrecked after awhile. That’s why I got this new SmartyKat Sisal Angle Cat Scratch Ramp, because our old one (different shape and different brand) is getting pretty shabby. One of our cats likes it just fine but my main complaint (minus one star for that) is it is much smaller than it looks. It is really more kitten-sized. There are no photos of the product showing a cat using it, so I guess I misjudged the size of it. After receiving it, I went back and viewed a video of the product and there you can see more clearly how small it is. Maybe one of the other size options might have been a better choice for our use, but we will keep this one to add to the collection (it’s not like our cats are spoiled, or anything).

SISAL UNIT IS THE BEST, BUT SO LIGHT, CAT KEEP FLIPPING ON ITS SIDE
I really prefer the sisal pad over the cardboard. Much less “trash” after scratching. Only problem is cat keeps turning over the unit. Need to add weight or mount to a board.

Solid, good bargain
This is the second one, with two cats claiming administration of only one. I sprinkle a touch of silvervine and they select it over furniture, most of the time, to scatch and claw on. Sturdy and solid, it is a good bargain.

There was no indication in the photos with the advertisement that they use staples all around near the edges. So this being a place where cats scratch how safe is that? Going back, good concept but not safe for scratching.

Small but popular scratcher
This cat scratcher is nice, but it honestly too small for my cats to use well. They both love it, but it flips over whenever they try to scratch on it. I wish I had paid more attention to how small it is. This would be great for kittens or really small cats.They both do still sit on it or try to scratch it when it flips over, so they like the material, and the backing is nice. It is just really small for adult cats.

El producto es bonito, resistente, aunque la pluma que trae colgando se rompió un poco a los minutos de que mi gatita jugara con ella. Eso sÃ, no se ha despegado a pesar de que la jala mucho y con fuerza. El material se ve resistente y elegante sobre todo. Es un poco pequeño para un gato adulto ya que mi gata tiene menos de 5 meses y ya casi no cabe por la parte de abajo. No lo usa casi como rascador, pero le gusta acostarse en la curvita a descansar.

Number one our cats love it! They scratch on it, they lay in it and play fight all over it. Itâs very sturdy as both cats can play on it at the same time. Itâs unobtrusive in that itâs fairly small and can be put anywhere in a room or hallway. Totally a must for your cat(s)!

My cat loves this scratcher. It gives him a really good hard claw scratching that the cardboard ones just do for him. It does collect his hair more quickly, and sometimes falls on its side, but heâs very happy with it so thatâs all that matters.
