Miracle for my horse.
My horse has had respiratory issues since day one, he was a rescue from a bad situation, but we were able to coach back to health. He became a champion but continued to have coughing issues. We tried everything including top of the line treatment at New Bolton Center. A friend handed me an article on equine respiratory problems and I looked for the two ingredients noted in the article. Lung EQ was the only product that had sufficient quantities of both. After one month on the stuff our beautiful Arabian is very much better and very rarely coughs (once in the last three weeks after years of consistent coughing when riding). I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with this product. It is expensive but worth every penny. I look forward to see if it helps with his runny eyes in the spring.

My horse loves it!
Caused by pollens and dust and high humidity levels, one of our horses gets some pretty heavy breathing heaves. Having lived in areas where winters are short, the episodes were starting to be very difficult to control throughout the warm/hot season (Feb-Oct). Once the heavy breathing starts, Dex shots are the only thing that will work for him, but as he is aging it takes him longer and longer to get back to normal. We were also wanting to try to do something to keep him away from medication, due to his age.I am not sure where I heard about this product, but the reviews were great from owners of horses with similar symptoms to ours. We have been using it for two years now. We feed it to him all year long, but in the winter months he only gets one scoop. Like many other products, this is not something that will immediately work, so that should be kept in mind. But from having one episode a month the previous season before we started with this product, last spring/summer, he only had two breathing episodes where he needed the Dex shots and one of them was our own fault (he had access to putting his nose into the hay bales while we were storing them for the winter; he doesn’t need much to get heaves). We mix it with his feed and some turmeric and as he leaves nothing behind, I’m guessing he likes the flavor. So in our case, it has worked very well and it is well worth it the purchase of this product.

Everything I wanted and more
This stuff is great! It has everything that I was already supplementing (ie painstakingly sourcing, measuring, and filling stupid little baggies) in a super convenient pellet form. No more green nose for my heave-y boy! He had a bad flare up this fall, which is always the worst time for him. I do not supplement year round but usually do in the spring and fall. I dropped the ball this year and could not source the usual ingredients for his “magic mix”. So happy to have found my stuff. My boy is breathing easily and is back into work. Please note I do also use Dexamethasone for nasty flare ups but the supplements often prevent the flare up completely. Mixing my own definitely gave me more bang for my buck but I will HAPPILY pay more for the convenient pellet form and the piece of mind know he is getting quality ingredients.

Horse wonât eat
I really canât say if this works or not. My horse will not eat it. He wonât even eat his normal feed if I put even a few pellets of this supplement in it. He is a miniature horse and gets a small amount of feed twice a day so itâs probably harder to hide the smell/ taste. Regardless, a waste of money in this case.

Great Quality
I have a horse with severe allergies in the summer. He has a hard time breathing in hot humid conditions. The vet said this is the best his lungs have sounded after being on this product for 6 months.

Brushy odor
My horse would not touch this, blew raspberries, stuck his lip up and walked off, would not even pick threw it to eat his regular grain , has a strong brush kind of odor , unfortunately can not return it

Helped horse with seasonal heaves
I got my geldingvlast summer and about a week adter getting him the hot weather kicked in and so did his cough. I had never had a horse with heaves before and I thought he was dying. I couldn’t ride him or he’d run out of breath, he’d cough all day long. This year along with generic zyrtec I started using this and haven’t heard but a couple coughs ..I can even ride him again during the summer. I will continue to have this in my arsenal for summer time allergies/ COPD/heaves!
