Perfect lights for perfect little guy
The cozwell light has multiple settings to adjust to any terrarium. Small and compact but provide the perfect amount of light and get the UVB reptiles need. They do not appear to give off any unwanted heat and do not damage the lid. Great price and functionality. Metal construction makes them durable to have mounted tonlod and springs keep them in place when needing to access inside.

2 out of 3 are defective
I purchased one and it works great so I purchased another. It was defective so I returned it and asked for a replacement, however, it was defective also, in exactly the same way as the previous one. Only a few leds light up, and only very dimly, so dim as to be of no use. It doesn’t matter what setting it’s placed on, or if u turn the brightness up to max, they barely glow, and only a few do. I’ve included a pic showing the difference bt the 1st initial one that worked, and the defective one. The 1st defective one looked exactly like the 2nd defective one in the pic when turned on. Exactly the same defectiveness. I wanted the item replaced again, but Amazon has forced me to take a refund by not giving me that option this time. This item seems like a hit or miss. At this point 2 out of 3 seem to be defective.

Great lighting for reptiles
Great lighting for a small product. Different light settings and they are bright and the timers are excellent. Love the product and would highly recommend for any reptile cage! Secures to the top of the cage so no slipping.

Several Fatal Flaws
I ordered this light for my turtle aquarium hoping to have a UVB light that lasts longer than the CFL lights I had been using. Unfortunately this light won’t work for me for several reasons.The first issue with this bulb is that it has a controller built in that needs to be pressed to turn it on. This means it can’t be used with a timer because it won’t automatically turn back on without you manually pressing that button. When you do turn it on it goes back to the default settings, which brings us to issue number two.The second issue is that, contrary to the claims in the product description, it does produce harmful UVC light on one of it’s three UV settings, which happens to be the default settings every time you turn on the light. (See photo)The third issue is there is no way of knowing which setting you are on without an expensive UV meter. I know not to use the option that puts out the UVC, but I’m not sure which of the other two options (if either) give me the UVB5.0 that I need.Overall, the light seems to have solid build quality and a good price for an led bulb. I also like it’s compact appearance. Unfortunately it is unusable for me with the flaws I mentioned above, but if you are not planning on using this bulb with a timer, it will probably work well for you, just avoid the first setting that puts out harmful UVC light. The company’s customer service was great and they were quick to issue me a refund.

Directions could be better. Product works great
My only complaint about these lights is the little hooks don’t quite attach to my screen covers for my sand boas however they are easily altered with a pliers. They come with a little UV sensing card so you know that they are working which was really quite entertaining to my children.

Awful quality, shines virtually no light and stopped working quickly.
Barely shines any light, not even visible inside the tank. After 3 or 4 days of regular use, there is absolutely no light coming through at all. Wish I could return this and get a refund but I cannot find the packaging.
