Coir Wonder Animal Bedding & Litter

Made 100% from Coconut Husk

Product Description
The Coir Wonder Coco Chip Animal Bedding is derived from coconut husk chips and this versatile material offers numerous benefits for a variety of small pets, including bunnies, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, guinea pigs. Ferrets, bearded dragons, lizards, geckos, pythons, tortoises, turtles, frogs, tarantulas, and more.
Coir Wonder Bedding Material comes with a pouch of our own Active Odor Control System made from Steam Activated Charcoal from coconut shells. The bedding substrate’s fibrous texture allows for effective moisture absorption, helping to maintain optimal humidity levels within terrariums, cages and other pet enclosures. This bedding litter material is able to retain moisture without becoming excessively wet.
While the coco chip terrarium substrate is itself a natural odor absorber, it is enhanced by the included Activated Carbon and thus helps keep the enclosure smelling fresh and clean. The chips create a warm and cozy environment, mimicking the natural habitat substrate of cold-blooded animals like snakes, pythons and turtles.
Whether it’s a terrestrial tortoise or an arboreal frog, coconut husk chips provide an ideal bedding material for pet animals. Additionally, for small animals like snakes and tarantulas that prefer burrowing, the loose texture of the coco chip bedding material allows for natural digging behavior.

Alternate Litter
I’m a big fan of coconut coir as a sustainable resource, and I use it in potting as a replacement for peat moss so I’m familiar with how absorbent it is. I’ve actually wondered before if I could use it for litter for my rabbit, so I was excited to try this.It comes as a mix of fine coir and coir chunks, with a small bag of activated charcoal you mix in when you change the litter for odor control. The charcoal baggie is a nice touch. I was a little afraid my rabbit wouldn’t like the texture, but he has no problems with it and used his litterbox as usual right away.I’m only on day three, but three is no smell and it seems to be doing its job great. The only reason I probably won’t to a 100% switch to it is the price. As of review, it is 20L for 26 USD, but for a huge bag of wood pellets I can pay five usd.

Easy and Works Well
This bedding works really well. I wish there was more charcoal because that additive really helps with the smell. We use it for our bunny and are very pleased with the product.

Excellent odor control thanks to activated charcoal addition — good amount of litter, lasts a while
This is an excellent litter for my rabbit! Truly a great find. The bag comes with a generous amount of litter thatâll last me for quite a while, and it even comes with a pouch of activated charcoal for odor control. Not only does it keep the smell at bay, but the litterâs absorbency is top-notch. Iâve been finding that I can extend the time between complete litter changes without any compromise in hygiene or comfort for my pets, which I very much appreciate. Whether youâre using this for a rabbit, ferret, hamster, or some other small creature, this stuff seems to be an excellent choice. Iâm incredibly impressed with the quality and the overall performance.

Outstanding odor control!
Iâve been using this bedding in my hamsters habitat, and it has really great over control. She has a specific spot that she likes to use as her potty and I have not needed to clean that nearly as often as I used to. I can actually go a few weeks in between cleaning out that spot. I just cleared out with a shovel and then add more of his bedding and sheâs good to go for a while. The stuff is like magic.

No doubts anymore!
I was a bit skeptical of how much odor protection this bedding has. Well it does and to be honest it exceeded its claim. The only caveat is that you have to mix in what looks like charcoal sand, Howe, itâs really not a big deal. Just a few pinches and your all set after a little mixing in the littler box. Absolutely recommended

Excellent odor control, strange consistency
We have been using a bedding from another brand but were disappointed in the odors, we only have one hamster and clean every week to week and a half. This bedding is very different, almost like sand in parts, we introduced this partially into the mix in one corner and realized there was less odor after a few days, which is good but the hamster won’t burrow in it.

Outdoor Rabbit Dwelling
My daughter has two domesticated rabbits but has never liked the idea of keeping them in a small cage indoors so they have a large home with an even larger run attached. My husband also built them a castle and playground as well. Even with it being a large area outside and cleaned at least once a week, it still gets pretty smelly. This works very well at reducing odor. Chip and Edward seem pleased with their new bedding as well. I took off a star because I think the price is pretty high for the size bag you get.
