Went fishing on the party boat for Rock fish with my two other friends, to whom I gave one led light lures each. I have good quality fish and so with my friends we got the maximum limit of fish to keep way before the day was over.

Fishermen will try anything, and tell you anything, but I can’t say they have enabled me to catch more fish, but when your fishing buddies see them, it makes for some very interesting conversation. I have certainly fallen for other tackle that produced less results. I plan to take them on my next offshore bottom fishing trip. Maybe I will catch some unknown new species and have it named for me. Have fun and take a kid fishing. I take my wife and just yesterday she landed a citation trout in Bay River, NC on a #6 hook while fishing for bait fish. Caveat, she did catch the fish and out did me for the day, as usual. But she was not using the item I am reviewing. Perhaps she would have caught a state record if she had. Needless to say, I have gotten way more than my money’s worth our of this item.

They work
These work ok but my subjective opinion is they are not very bright. Iâve used them a couple of times fishing for Coho salmon. Didnât seem to make a difference. However, I have a bunch of flashers and didnât want to invest $ for flashers with built-in lights.

Don’t buy unless you use them right away
9/5/24I bought 10 of these less than a year ago. They seemed fantastic. As I got the remaining 8 out of the drawer today to do some fall night fishing I discovered none of them worked. They’re all dead. Apparently they have very limited shelf life. They are good if you use them right way, otherwise avoid. They have no printed expiration date so there is no way to know if they are fresh or not.Original review:The little lights are bright and long lasting. These seem to be improved or different from the ones we bought last year in that they stop blinking almost immediately when they come out of the (ocean) water and we don’t have to be super careful to dry them off. Previously we had to wipe and air dry them for a day before storage or they would start blinking again and run down the battery.

These make a big difference when fishing for rockfish and bottom fish. We never leave the dock without them.

Used for ice fishing walleye Alberta Canada… Mounted 12″ above Jig and minnow 1/2 hour before sun set.Seemed to work best at dusk when flash from light was a bit muted. Caught largest fish 15 min before sun set on this line.Might be a bit bright after full dark. No hits on this line after sun set Unable to test out further as reached allowable limit of fish with one caught on another set line.
