My Hats Came Out Fresh and Still Shaped Right
I was so tired of my favorite baseball caps coming out the wash looking all bent up and raggedy, but this little purple cage kept them safe and looking brand new I can put right in the washing machine without worrying about them losing their shape or getting damaged. No bending, no weird dents just clean hats holding their shape. The flexible design fits different hat sizes perfectly, and since it’s rust proof I know this thing is gonna last.

This is a game changer for dirty baseball caps
My husband gets his hats very dirty with his job as a contractor. I have tossed his hats in the wash before, but they almost always come out damaged. This is a game changer. It arrived the other day and I washed his first hat in it this morning. It held its shape, stayed contained, and is clean. This is such a simple invention and a game changer for anyone who wears baseball hats. The soft silicone also was easy on my other laundry and I didn’t have to worry about anything else getting damaged. I definitely recommend this for anyone with a family member who wears (dirty) baseball hats.

Worst design ever
I don’t know who thought this was a good idea or why the other reviewers had such luck with this but it’s a terrible design for quality hats.First, the whole “cage” is made of really soft silicone so it won’t protect your hat at all.It also won’t snap completely around the bill unless you have a curved or bent bill, as opposed to a flatter style. The slot for the bill also won’t fit unless it’s a really curved and bent bill.And it’s surprisingly heavy so it’ll sink to the bottom of the wash making it more susceptible to being crushed by the other articles in the wash.I was reluctant to try this product and I fully regret it since it creased one of my favorite hats. And in my experience, those creases won’t ever come out completely.See the photos for further clarification on this terribly designed product and the aftermath of the wash attempt.

Heavy but not sure of itâs effectiveness
I would probably give a 3.5 if I could. To be honest Iâm not familiar with hat washing products but was interested in this since I always hand wash my hats. When it arrived I was pretty impressed with its heavy duty feel. Itâs made of soft silicone with snaps to hold the top and bottom together. The snaps are substantial and it closes nicely with the hat inside. On the downside itâs pretty bulky which goes along with why it feels heavy duty. After washing a hat I found that the hat shifted inside the cage. See my photos including of the before photo when the hat was nicely positioned inside. I washed it on a gentle cycle setting with a relatively light load. The hat wasnât damaged after going through the cycle but considering how it shifted Iâm not sure the protection was there. Since I have not used a hat washing product before I canât compare to how others work. It also donât know how it compares in price but Iâm guessing itâs more expensive due to the heavy silicone material. In the end my hat was not damaged but perhaps I got lucky?

Works in a Pinch, but Feels Flimsy
