The structure itself is sturdy but the wood is poorly cut with edges in need of sanding. Also it did not come with the ball.It’s okay for what it is, my cat likes it well enough, but I think I would have been more satisfied if it had been cheaper.

Saved our couch ðð¼
My cat is very picky about what she will scratch! Our main thing was we bought new couches and did not want our cat scratching the couch. We bought this and put it behind the couch where she would be tempted to scratch! To our surprise she started scratching itâ¦..when she did we would tell her she was such a good girl!! Our couch has remained in perfect shape and she loves the scratcher ðð¼ð¤© well worth the money!

Screws too small!
Holes were drilled larger than the screws provided, and prevented assembly. We had to obtain larger screws in order for this item to be usable.

Cats love it
Much less messy than the cardboard variety. The cats seem to prefer the carpet to the sisal and are using it even in preference to the couch which it was purchased to protect. It was fairly easy to put together even using the miserable tiny tools provided.

It was sold as a cat scratching item.I am limited with space, I thought this might workBut they rarely use it. Never touch the ball activity feature.Would not buy it again.

Cat approved!
This scratch board is great for my cats to scratch on instead of using my furniture. It’s well made and doesn’t shed like the cardboard ones do. My cats love it but the ball fell out pretty quickly.

Itâs alright, I like that it has carpet instead of cheaper materials which wear down quicker. Itâs not that nice to look at tho so itâs hard to place in a good spot in the house

Needs to be stuck to the ground or wall with some sort of adhesive to be usable.Beware. My cat loves it but his claws get very stuck in the carpet when they’re long. I’ll probably replace the carpet with a less loopy type.
