Good durability
Truthfully, I didn’t have super high hopes for these but they actually work really well! All 3 of my horses are in the 15.1-15.3 range, they wore mediums in the shoofly boots and these fit similarly. We have really bad flies this year and they were stomping like crazy, but with these it has almost stopped completely. They’ve been wearing them everyday for almost 3 weeks now, they aren’t sagging a wild amount, they don’t rub their heels, none of the tabs are coming off, they haven’t faded, and the velcro is still strong!One of my gelding is a pro at ditching his fly boots but he has yet to get rid of these!

Not draft sized
As others stated they’re a bit stiff. I should have assumed, but they do not fit draft sizes well. I can’t get the last strap secured with their feathering. That being said, they have stayed on thus far.

All around a decent pair, two full sets and a great price
We go through a lot of fly boots. Our hope is that a pair will last 4 months and there are a few requirements we have for good fly boots. Strong velcro, durable netting, and sturdy stiffeners built in to keep the boots from bunching down like loose socks. These boots check the box on all of these features. They are an all-around decent pair and this bundle has two full sets for a fair price.

Look Out Flies of Northern Minnesota! Stella Has New Fly Boots! No More Swishing! No More Stomping!
Set of 8 mesh fly boots – So far so good! The 2 pack for the price is nice! I go through 1 set of the name brand ones yearly so it gets a little spendy. So far these seem to be comparable and fit well. Neither horse seems to have issues with them and they have been holding up to weeks of wear already. I look forward to see how they hold up for the summer but so far I am very optimistic.They were easy to put onto our horses and both girls seem unfazed by them!Stella says, THANK YOU!” She loathes having to stamp her feet and swish her tail like some uncouth horse to shoo flies away! Now she can pose nonchalantly in her lovely lilac boots and accept her treats and head scratches from her fans. As it should be!

Actually stay on!
I was a bit nervous with the 4 pieces of velcro style rather than the one long piece of velcro like I’ve used in the past. However, these have been great! Theyre easy to put on, easy to adjust and my horse hasn’t lost one in the pasture yet! They are holding up well to muddy pastures and rolling. The bright colors make them easy to see, just in case I do end up needing to search for one in the long grass. The size is perfect on my 15.2 ish quarter horse. These really help with the stomping at flies. Totally worth grabbing a couple pairs if you live in an area with lots of biting flies!

I should have taken a closer look at the pictures. For 2 reasons; 1. Photoshopped pictures are always a bad sign. 2. Even photoshopped they don’t fit right.Immediately after putting on a set (extremely surprised the horse gave me no trouble), a fly flew into the sleeve and got stuck inside. They don’t fit close enough at the top or bottom, allowing the flies in, but of course they are too stupid to get back out.Basically, these sleeves are fly traps, not fly deterrent’s. They do look pretty good and seem of a good quality, but there is only hope here and little else.

Had a difficult time keeping them from falling down, the flies were still able to get to the horses legs. I did put the orange over polo wraps to be seen when on the road and in the woods trail riding.
