Having had dogs with double coats all our lives, we have a plethora of dog grooming tools. To be honest, none of them have been anything more than adequate, but they do something.This self cleaning, shedding brush! Where has it been all our lives? I have never seen a brush that was so easy to use and that the dog actually wants me to use on her. She wants more. Itâs solid. Itâs comfortable for the dog. Itâs easy to self-clean by pushing the button and all the hair comes out. Itâs just an amazing tool that is making me gather up all the others and donate them to pet rescues.Iâm not sure that I will have a use for the combs because the shedding brush is exactly what I need. But if I had a dog with a coat that needed to be combed, these combs would be wonderful. Theyâre heavy and substantial in weight. They are not going to break!For anyone trying to save their home from the problem of shedding dogs or for those who are trying to save on frequent professional grooming when all they need is brushing, this is the kit for you. I love my pets. I do. But their shedding? It was getting personal. I was basically inhaling a fur smoothie daily. The self cleaning feature makes this brush even better
I recently discovered how well slicker brushes work on my Chinese Crested powederpuff’s coat. I had used one in the past on another dog, but the bristles scratched the dog’s skin so I threw it out. The only con of my new favorite slicker brush (not this one) was that it was hard to clean all of my dog’s fur from the brush since its fine and very soft. However, this slicker brush takes the cake. It has balls on the tips of the bristles to protect my dog’s skin and it’s self-cleaning, so the issue of cleaning out her fur is a thing of the past. If you have a dog (or cat) with long hair, you need this grooming kit!

My dog does not love to be groomed, and I was looking for some different brush options to try and get him to tolerate it. This set came with a number of options, and the hand brushes did the trick! He was a little scared at first, but once I started, he actually liked it! Just like being pet!
