Great for cardinals and woodpeckers
I really like this bird seed and so do my birds. It’s a great quality bird seed that doesn’t have any of the filler seeds that similar brands have, which is nice, so there isn’t nearly as much “kick out” from birds trying to find the good seeds because it’s ALL good seeds. You open the bag and it looks and smells delicious! I’m a little jealous of my birds. My neighborhood cardinal seems to really like the feeder with this blend in it, as well as a Red-bellied woodpecker that has very entertaining to watch. As with the other blends I’ve tried from this brand, it’s a big, 10lb bag which lasts a while, alongside my other blends I’ve tried. It’s a great investment and value since the birds don’t waste anything. I’d buy this blend again.

You will have tons of birds
I just ordered this for the first time, and the increase in amount of birds has been unbelievable. They love this seed mix.I ended up stocking another feeder as a result. There were birds fighting over access to the feeders, which may be seen as a positive or negative depending on your view on bird fighting.Anyways, Iâll allow the photos to speak for themselves

My Birds are not cool
Iâve tried everything to make sure that it is not me. Conclusion: something is wrong with this seed.The birds will not eat it. This is NOT the hot seed. This is shelled seed. Even the squirrels wonât eat the peanuts in it. Now THAT says something.Even tried bringing a scoop to my friend on the other side of town. Her birds arenât âcoolâ either. Wonât touch it. Took her 2 days to get her birds to come even back to the feeder.Returning it. I flocking wanted to feed my birds. Something is wrong with this seed.

Birds Love It! Super High-Quality Mix with No Fillers
I couldnât be happier with Cool Birds Safflower, Nuts & Hearts. The blend is pure quality â safflower, sunflower hearts, and peanuts â with no fillers or cheap grains. From the first day I filled the feeder, I noticed a big uptick in cardinals, chickadees, nuthatches, and finches. The birds seem to love every piece, and thereâs almost no mess under the feeders because everything is edible.If youâre serious about attracting beautiful songbirds and keeping waste to a minimum, this is the best mix Iâve tried. Iâll definitely be reordering!

High-quality bird seed…but a bit pricey
I’m impressed with the quality of this bag of food. This is basically shelled sunflower seeds and peanuts, and it’s not filled with a bunch of useless shells. This bag filled two of our feeders, and our pig-birds will go through it in about a week. I do think the price point of 25 bucks is high for 10 pounds, especially since the stupid resident squirrel will no doubt figure out how to eat half of it, but I will be watching for this to go on sale and will stock up again because it is good quality and does attract the birds.

I’m no bird expert, so i can’t name species. But i do have 4 bird feeders outside. The birds love this seed. It’s small enough to come out of my feeders. It’s a quality mix without sticks and other debris. It’s a small enough bag to be easy to pour. It’s a decent value.

Wonderful seed mix that goes quickly
This is a great seed mix. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get. It’s a mix of safflower, sunflower hearts and peanuts. I like that they’re not using cheap fillers.I recently put up a bird feeder camera in the back yard. The birds have been hitting it especially hard with this seed. I had previously been using a standard seed from the store, which they liked. But for some reason (I’m guessing just the simple ingredients), the birds seem to like this one a bit more. I’ve seen more birds out there with this seed than the previous. Not by a ton, but enough to be noticeable. I’m getting more video alerts now than I used to.The biggest problem is I’m going through the bag all too fast.
