Great for covering up under the sun.
Great for protecting against the sun. I wear it when hiking and biking in the sun. It’s very light, relatively cool and not too tight so not too much pressure on your neck and face.

Great but not a balaclava
This gaiter was good in covering most of my face while Iâm outside or driving for a while. There are many ways to wear it, making it versatile. The only downside is that it does not wear like a balaclava. The fit is close but is very loose and flappy when Iâve tried to wear it as a balaclava.

The ROCK BROS Cooling Neck Gaiters Bandana Face Mask is comfortable. Other masks are hot and uncomfortable. This mask does not hinder breathing like most masks. I believe it prevents more pollen coming in because the sides of your face are covered. I believe that is a factor that inhibits taking in virus also. It is not 2 or 3 layers, but it is finely knit. I think it serves the purpose for which I bought it. I want a comfortable mask that I can where when I’m in public. I also want to prevent pollen getting in my sinuses when I do yardwork. I want a mask that is not hot. This mask fulfills my requirements.
