I find this is the best coco chip. Iâve ordered it in a couple different sizes and they always come bug free and much cheaper than the reptile stores.

Good snake enclosure bedding
Very good in my snakes cages and lasts longer than dirt. Holds moisture well too. I have bought this product at least 15 times!

Quality
As always great smell is mild, size is as expected, easy to use- break apart get it damp and go. One block filled a 20 gallon enclosure surface area so good idea to mix with fiber too or use both depending on your needs!

Expands significantly
There was a review on here where the guy said he had a 55 gallon and was going to use 4 blocks to give him 4 inches of depth.. I used 2 blocks in a tote and got about 4 inches depth in TWO 55 gallon tanks and still have about half a tote left. The other reviews about shredded trash/paper/seed sack material are correct there is that in here. Overall great value but feel like I’ve wasted a good bit listening to that one review. Should’ve just used one block. We’ll see how this dries.

Love this stuff!
this coconut husk works well in my turtle tank. Very easy to clean and replace when necessary. The brick sizes are good and are expand when wet which is very helpful in a habitat. This could also benefit a dog’s health in some way from what I hear. The design is good, comfortable for the turtle and eliminates smells in the habitat.

Great value and easy to use, some plastic and clay found mixed in
I bought this to try out in a ball python enclosure, overall I am pretty happy with it. The bricks are a great size for freezing. I froze mine for several days and used boiling water to hydrate it. One brick filled about 1/3rd of a 5gal bucket and fully covered the bottom of a 36âx18â 50 gallon enclosure. I will probably use 4-5 bricks to achieve 4 inches of coverage.The substrate is a mix of fiber and chip and I did find some large clumps of clay mixed in as well as string and some little bits of plastic, just be sure to sort through it. This is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.This holds moisture well and reconstituted quickly. It is very soft, left no splinters in my hand and has a nice earthy smell.The picture I included of the enclosure is one brick.

Great substrate, no mold
Seen reviews about mold. Luckily the first block I bought didn’t seem to have that issue and I rehydrate the substrate about every other week to keep humidity around 70%.Bought two bags of coco husk from exoterra which molded over not even a week after replacing the old bedding. The exoterra one also had more dirt and fiber. Thoroughly pleased with this product.

Great choice as a base!
Worked fantastic for our tortoise cage, easy to break apart and work with. We kept a spray bottle of water near to keep down on the dust though.

Used this in my royal pyhtons vivarium.2 blocks filled the Viv which is 3ft by 2ft also mixed in some soil and a clay ball layer.Good quality and good value for money.Easy to use I used a large bucket soaked it in water then lay it all out to dry out over a few days in the sun.Make a natural looking vivarium and holds humidity
