Lots of attachments, hours of play!
The first time that I introduced this toy to my kitten I literally had to put it away one little breaks because the poor cat was overheating (he was panting!) That’s how much he liked it. It’s very durable (been using it for 2 full months) the attachments are nice and the materials are a good quality. My cat will go back at it at least 2 times a day for play. My 2 older cats not so much. The only thing that I noticed was that it was hard to graduate height. For example, cat will pull down one toy all the way to the floor level making it boring while the second one was hanging way to high to reach…but I figured a knot at the base or the hanger will do the trick. And it did. My only observation would be: Next time, make a little something to graduate each toy at the costumers desirable height. It looks nice too, I placed it between my room and living room. I definitely recommend.

Second time we purchased this.
I bought one of these for our cats as a replacement for a different one and then ended up getting another one for my sisters cats. They all love this and play endlessly with it. So cheap, it’s a no Brainer.

Kittyâs Favorite Toy!
Ok, so Iâve already had to purchase two of these because this is my Spooksâ favorite toy!! She really gets it moving and gets it bouncing so high that Iâve had to ârescueâ it from on top of my door (see picture) haha! I love watching her play with it because I know sheâs not bored.Just make certain there isnât anything around it that it can get stuck onto (Iâve moved candles and other decorations from two tables on either sides of the door that are within reach that the toy used to get stuck in, that she couldnât get it untangled from).I just check on it every once in a while throughout the day to make certain she hasnât got it caught in anything she hasnât been able to âuncatchâ it from.The only reason I have had to replace it was because of her playing with it so much, not because of anything wrong with the product. The elastic simply wore out and the little animal broke off and I only replaced it after I could no longer keep reattaching it tot he elastic :).She went a week or so without it while I ordered a new one, etc and is thrilled to not k my have it back, but to have the bounciness back (newness).Spooks h the a la the manufacturer!!! 🙂

Too sturdy
I was hoping this would be similar to the toy my cat had a while back but it definitely is not. The doorway clasp is way too sturdy which is extremely dangerous for cats. I have had family members cats die because of devices like this one. I originally had a toy like this that had a flimsy wire doorway clasp that was coated in plastic which is safer just in case the cat tangles the string around their neck it will release the doorway before any damage happens to the cat⦠this one has a very thick hard metal doorway clasp that is very difficult to manipulate to become wide enough to be at least a bit safer for my cat to use without supervision. Also more variety of different types of toys would be nice too⦠the feathers and bells apparently arenât as appealing to my cat as the small quiet mouse was on the other toy.

Decent Idea But Poorly Implemented
So the idea behind this toy is sound – the cat goes after the toy on the elastic, which then bounces, which keeps the cat going at the toy, which keeps the toy bouncing, etc. The issue is that this idea is poorly implemented in literally every manner you can describe.To start with, the elastic is not long enough; placed in a standard home doorway & when evened out, both toys are at waist height. Ideally there should be about another foot at least per side. The balancing felt mechanism also lacks any manner of preventing the cat from dragging a toy all the way to the top of the doorway, so you will have to reset the toys every once in a while, sort of defeating the point of this toy. I would suggest knots in the elastic on each side, midway through; this is what I did & itseems to work well enough. The issue of you do this, however, is that there’s a good chance the toys will be too high for the cat to want to play with. So there’s really no good way to set this toy up properly, what wound up happening without the knots is they just grabbed one lure & chewing on it, or just ignoring it with the knots.The one positive thing about this toy is the sheer number of lures it comes with. Just wish they came with something better to attach them to.
