Impressive arboreal terrarium for Tarantula
Bought this 8x8x12 arboreal terrarium for my pink toe tarantula. I like the size of this even if it is a little big for my T right now. It allows for enough decor to be installed to allow her to web up where she wants. This is a better option to the Zoo Med creatures habitat which is similar size and price. This enclosure is full plexiglass. It came with very secured and protected shipping material. Offers both top and side ventilation so that my arboreal tarantula can have the cross ventilation it wants. And the top is a slid in with small strong magnets that I don’t see my tarantula being able to escape from. Although this enclosure is still new to me, and I do hope it holds up over time, I will say that it seems to be a very good option and I will be getting more of the different sizes to use for my different tarantulas. The only thing that would make this enclosure better would be if it offered both a top and side opening option. However for the price, no complaints as it is.

Great enclosure but lid bows a little
Love the enclosure. I use it for my juvenile tarantula. Has enough depth to add a good deep layer of substrate for my Brazilian Black tarantula to dig. I will say though that the lid has started to bow a little bit but I can still slide it into place.

Not suitable as a permanent home
Using this for a M. balfouri sling communal.As much as I absolutely love how clear and thick the acrylic is, I’m super-sad to say that, I’ve only has it for a couple of weeks now, and the front is already bowing outward.For a grow-out enclosure, this may work. But I would not recommend it for a permanent home for your pet simply because of its propensity to bow/warp.

Quality acrylic enclosures
I bought this as an alternative to the big brands that are priducing these type of enclosures. I won’t go as fat to say they are equal but factoring the price these enclosures still bring functionality and good looks combined with seemingly decent construction.

I was unsure if I would like this at first, but I actually Love it, the magnetic locking system on it works great at keeping my pet Madagascar hissers contained, but easy to remove the top for cage cleaning and refilling their food & water.

Overall a good enclosure
Overall a good enclosure just a tad narrow. I suppose it depends on what you plan on putting in there. I used it for a tarantula and had no issues with warping but will eventually switch to something with more width.

Perfect for my Psalmopoeus Irminia
Quality seems good, door opens/closes easily. Seems perfect for arboreal T’s like Psalmo, Tapi, and Amazonius. Not sure how it would be for avics as I’ve never owned one.
