Paint peeling from rock, toxic
This started peeling in the tank. I could not return because it was after 30 days. Do not buy, it is harmful.

My turtle likes it so I love it
Easy to clean and itâs good quality for sure it has been in his tank officially two weeks and no paint or chips like the last one. No odor when I opened it and for size reference I brought the medium and my turtle is four and half inches long. He fits inside not much room but he really loves this rock. Worth the price you pay

Perfect hide – UPDATE
I used this for my RES turtle and after about 1 month I noticed paint was chipping off and floating in the water. I only ever rinsed it to keep it clean. There is absolutely no reason it should have started chipping. After I noticed paint was coming off I tried to clean it to see if maybe I just had a few unlucky chips come off. After running it under water, that alone was making it chip. I decided it was unsafe and threw it away. If you’re thinking about buying this I would proceed with caution.

Our critters love this cave.
Our fish, shark and crayfish all take turns using this cave. It is very easy to clean but has enough weight it’s not too easy to push around. It is a great addition to our tank and the critters all seem to love it as well when they want to retreat and hide for a bit.

Absolutely not for aquariums
I put this in my axolotl’s tank while it was cycling for the last 5 or 6 weeks. I was rearranging everything so she can finally go in the tank tomorrow and the black paint on the inside of the hide was coming off in flakes. Axolotls use suction to catch their food and will swallow anything in the water so it has to go. I missed the return window by a week so its just trash now. I’m ao disappointed. It was a great size for her to use even as an adult.

A little expensive but my pleco loves it
Im always looking for hides and things for my cichlids this one I got so I could stack some wood on top and put a piece of cholla inside. My cichlids dont seem to care for it but im always finding my plecos in and on it
