Great hide for a baby sulcata tortoise
Was nervous because there weren’t any reviews but happy I took a chance. It’s seems a good quality and well made. The little bowls that go in the top don’t fit perfectly but they work well enough. My little buddy really likes it and has plenty of room in it for now. I added a picture with a quarter on his back to show size. So if you are looking for a good hide for your tortoise this is a good one.

Snake escaped–found her in this hide
Our juvenile ball python loves this hide, and I love that it helps with maintaining humidity, especially in the winter. 5-6 days ago, we realized someone had left the latch to her enclosure open and she was nowhere to be found. We searched high and low and dropped a warmed up rodent in her enclosure hoping to lure her back. No luck. After several days of worrying she’d get too cold and die, I finally prayed we’d find her soon, whether dead or alive. The very next morning, my daughter ran downstairs to get her school bag, and there was our sweet Medusa curled up inside of this cave in her enclosure.

this is a good size hide. Enough for my 6ft corn snake. Still would use a different humid hide… doesn’t seem to retain enough moisture.

Great baby tortoise hide! Humidity cups are worthless.
So, I am torn with this review. The opening of this house is large enough for my baby Redfoot tortoises to get in and out of easily. However, the humidity does not do anything. I was hoping that I could turn my humidifiers down or off at night if this helped at all. It did not. That part of this house is worthless.
