He shipped him fast, but they get extremely hot be warned
They work great. The metal on the outside of the lamp gets extremely hot and will burn you if youâd grab a hold of that that is a warning that should be put on the label. Do not grab the outer part of the lamp because you will burn yourself. I have pictures of what I did. Mine just were tapped.

Fire Hazzard VERY DANGEROUS
This should be removed from the market due to fire hazard. We had it on high for about 10mins and the plastic lightshade began smoking, melted and fell into our reptile cage.Horrible, dangerous product.

Burns the hell out of you but it works it’s a lamp it gets hot
Okay it’s getting two stars because it burned me so many times and I only use it for like a couple weeks and then gave up and returned it it had filament and Bulbs instead of the screwing bulbs so every time I turned it on it smelled like plastic… warning not just the casings to the light bulbs get hot but at least 3 in of the actual pole that holds the lights gets extremely hot it was very hard to aim the lights so I wouldn’t recommend this for turtle use I want you have a typical setup my setups a little different and it just doesn’t work for my setup so I may not be a product error but smelling burnt plastic every time I turn it on and doesn’t exactly make me feel safe when I leave the house but hey if you want to know if it works it works once my turtles finally located the warm spots they were able to enjoy it for a moment I’m bulbs we’re just too powerful so it works

Reptile clip lamp
I have been using the one day light bulb for my bearded dragon now for several weeks. She has no complaints about it and even seems to enjoy sitting under it. The clamp is quite strong and holds well. The timer and dimmer are also nice features on this as well i don’t have to remember to shut it off every night. The necks on the light seem strong as well they do not sag once placed in a position. I am only using the one socket just for daylight. It did come with both daylight and red heat bulbs which is nice. One thing that is not great about this is the heads can not be used separately. They also get hot so once it is on so you don’t bump it, I made that mistake. The bulbs that this uses is also one of those ones that you don’t want to get the oils from your hands on so i wear gloves when touching the bulb.

Smoking/melting
Do not buy! Spend the extra money for a safer option.Had the light for a few months and this week, we came home one day after it was on for about six hours and it was smoking. The insert the light goes into melted. You can see in the photo attached the white residue is from the melting/smoking.
