Easy care product
I prefer these pads as they are cleaner and not as messy as the soils. Using soils causes a lot of dust particles and these mats/pads provide traction without the clumping messes. They can be cut with strong scissors to fit your terrarium to your needs and you can put cabinet liners underneath so when cleaning you can clean top and bottom without the glass getting dirty. Cutting small angled slits allows you to poke through plant bases to provide plant shade. I recommend this product if you are tired of the dust from using soils.

Reptile Carpet Doesnât Lay Flat
The reptile carpet arrived folded up instead of rolled. The picture shows it rolled. The folded area in the middle is at least 1 inch high when you lay it in the aquarium. Even the weight of dirt on top doesnât help and itâs making it very difficult for my little box turtles to crawl around. It looks like I might have to pull it out and not use it at all.

For Russian tortoise
I got this for my Russian tortoises outdoor enclosure area, as I like to keep loose coconut fiber/dirt for his frequently used enclosure inside so he can dig. This works perfectly when I have him outside, easy to clean and move where I need it to be, perfect for what I needed it for.

Gets gross fast, hard to clean
I wanted to like this because we have a huge Egyptian Uromastyx that we had to take off of sand but the smell of her poop can clear a room!!! This doesnât really absorb the liquid part so when I try to clean up poop I have to try to soak up the liquid that comes out as well but some of the poop also gets stuck in there leaving a very stinky substrate!!!

Best Mats Ever!
The mats are perfectly sized and my Russian tortoise loves them. I was so happy to realize I could clean them repeatedly with my hose and they have not fallen apart! Given the multiple uses of each mat, these are a great value for the money.

LOVE IT!!! Could not be happier
We were using wood chips for our leopard gecko. This is SO much better. Sometimes when she was trying to catch a cricket she would end up eating the wood chips..so frustrating. Also, there were times when the crickets were very difficult to see..not anymore. It is soft and looks nice. Our leopard gecko has a big smile on her face now…ok, she always does, but I can tell she is happier and so are we.
