Just what I needed
Does as it should. Looks great in my enclosure. I have my baby red foot in a temporary 40gal glass enclosure and I placed this stone in there under her heat lamp to bask on. She went into it and ate some lettuce today.As others have said itâs thin and does chip easily so careful when handling and be mindful of placement too.

Turtle approved! Can’t get our RES off it. As others have mentioned this type of rock does flake/chip easily and there may be a few chips in the packaging. Was before adding to your friend’s habitat and watch their reaction.

Great Product…Seller Should Ship w/Better Packaging
I’ve purchased this product twice. The first time, it arrived in perfect shape. I’m using it as a platform on the edge of a large pot to hold a water feature, and it’s the perfect thing to use for wet areas, outside. The second time I purchased, it arrived broken in half 🙁 It was wrapped in bubble wrap and a skinny piece of brown paper was crunched and added to the large box with plenty of extra room to get knocked around. It was the lazy way to package….which resulted in a broken product. I’ve requested a replacement. We’ll see how that goes.

Good Ole slate
Very good size, not good big not too small. No bad smell, I put food on it and my redfoot tortoise knows when its food. It isnt too heavy either. The quality of this is good as well.
