The brightness is amazing compared to other competitors. I do wish it had UVA and a 3 point mount instead of 2 (it doesnât suspend from the screen like I hoped). All in all, decent quality, decent price.

it works great and i will say it is sturdy. my heat lamp was literally on top of it on accident, of course it started to melt a little but it still works great and does its job for my leo.

Defective assembly between wire and connection inside light.
When it worked, this light was great. I do not believe it was well assembled, or QCâd as the wire where it enters the lamp housing, if moved at all, caused the lamp to flicker or turn off completely. I dealt with this as best as I could until it finally stopped working altogether. I would not recommend this product because I believe there is a defect in how the wire is soldered to the electronics inside.

Better for smaller tanks?
Not as bright as I would have liked. Good for use with geckos. I wanted it for a tree python. I have a 36″ tall tank, and it doesn’t give much light at all. There are better lights, but if you have a small 12×12 or 24, it might be better. I’ll be moving it to a smaller tank. I mainly purchased it because there is not much room between the tank and the ceiling.

Great, low profile, UV adjustable UV light
This low profile UV light comes with hooks to enable the UVight to be hung under a screened lid as well as set on top. Adjustable UV output feature is very handy and works well. I used my Solor Light Company UV meter to test and adjust the output to arrive an optimal level.
