Accurate and essential for reptile care! ð¦ð¡ï¸
I bought this thermometer for my bearded dragon, Clark, and Iâm really happy with it so far. It gives quick and accurate temperature readings, which is super important for maintaining the right environment in his terrarium.The display is clear and easy to read, and it was simple to set up right where I needed it. Now I can confidently monitor the basking and cool zones, knowing Clark is safe and comfortable.If you have a reptile, a reliable thermometer is a mustâand this one does the job well without breaking the bank. Good… except for suction cup
I like the display, it seems quite accurate, and it survived falling into a deep water dish and sitting under water all day, which is impressive. I’m not sure if my tiny little snake is pulling it down or if it’s just a lousy suction cup, but it falls off every couple of weeks; not a huge issue, but annoying.

Useless / Dangerous
Whoever designed this did a poor job. Considering this is the upgraded version makes it even worse.First, the suction cup is incredibly weak and does not stay on the glass. This is especially true when using the side mounts as the thermometer sags significantly (about 45 degrees or more) – which while developing this, it should have been unacceptable.Luckily, I tested it prior to putting my little jumping spider in the enclosure as it eventually fell off no matter the orientation. This could have crushed my pet. Be warned.Dangers aside, the display itself is also not the most legible unless there is a bright light directly behind it.While I have a Repti Zoo terrarium and love it, this missed the mark entirely. I’d return it but it just isn’t worth the hassle.
