Excellent dual lamp stand
Good quality dual lamp stand that will save some of the cost of buying two. I’ve seen several bad reviews on the directions being hard to understand, the stand not going under the tank and bad set screws. Firstly you shouldn’t need instructions to set this stand up…it’s pretty basic. Secondly it specifically states in the description that it includes rubber feet if you need to elevate the tank. The set screws for lamp height adjustment are pretty bad, but after reading reviews I was prepared for this. I removed them and examined the threads, then made sure they were aligned perfectly straight before threading them in. If you just thread them in as they set when you open the box they will more than likely be cross threaded and not work properly. They definitely need to consider upgrading to metal screws. If you have a long tank and are trying to cover too large of an area with one lamp stand this probably wouldn’t work for you, order two single lamp stands. I’m using these on both of my vertical gecko terrariums and they work and look great.

Great stand, but the plastic thumb screws need work
First off I was surprised just how much stand was in such a small box. The stand itself is quite nice, metal construction for the poles and the lamp hangers. Extension rods are included to increase the height as well as the length of the âmountingâ rods. Set up was easy, feet are included to raise your tank up, if needed, so the bracket can slide under the tank. The bracket then clamps onto the tank, so no double sided tape to wear out. Mine is holding a flukers ceramic dome with a ceramic heater on one side and a standard light on the other. Everything seems sturdy and hasnât moved since installing it.My one and only major con to this item are the plastic thumb screws that tighten the vertical poles that hold the lamps. Another person posted a picture of the head sheared off the bolt. Mine did the same exact thing when I went to tighten it down. Luckily I had some super glue on hand and some vise grips. I was able to secure the head back onto the bolt and it works fine. These really should be made of metal, I canât see how metal ones would have brought the manufacturing cost up much. Just be careful when tightening them and you will probably be ok, otherwise make sure you have good super glue. In the future I may take one to the hardware store to see if I can find any metal bolts with the same threads and try to replace these.Overall though, a solid addition to my turtle tank that Iâm happy with.

This is a nice, neat, clean attitude lamp bracket. Of course it is not all metal, it is made in PRC. But the plastic nuts are easily replaced if needed. Just don’t crank down on them like they are some sort of load bearing nut. I do like the looks and it cleaned up the appearance around my daughters snake cage very nicely. Easy to modify if you need to lengthen the legs for a taller cage.

Great stability, Great Service, Great Price
I have a 50 gallon tank for my sulcata tortoise and this definitely has helped more than other lamp holders I have used. Previously I bought two separate lamp holders that stuck to the side of the tank, which were $20 each. While this worked fine for my heat emitter during the night, my 160W powersun bulb lamp was proving too heavy and was compromising the strength of the stickers that attached it to the tank. I was worried it would fall into the enclosure since I can’t use a lid in case the powersun bulb would overheat. This dual lamp holder both makes it easier to support both lamps while alleviating my worries of a lamp falling. I can also have my lamps at two different levels as well, which is great for tiering my lamps, and I can move either around the tank as needed. The attachment for the lampholders can go a lot higher than my tall 50 gallon tank as well, and has been the only lamp holder that I have seen that can easily reach this height. I can also take the lamp holder off and use it for a smaller tank for traveling, which is a great bonus.When I first received the lamp holder in the mail, one of the adjusting screws was broken off in the socket. I couldn’t get it out, but the seller was very quick with a response when I reached out. I was able to easily get a replacement.

Buyer beware: Don’t buy this product
this basking light bracket was for our pet bearded dragon. And we have the typical 40 gallon terrarium.i have a dual–the lights are connected together; they are not separate.This bracket was very hard to install (took many hours of pain) even though i followed all of the instructions because design was terrible: rubber rings allow the metal hooks to slide out–that’s no good: hence i had to add 1″ hose clamps so they wouldn’t slide out; and those screws were 1-time-only plastic low-quality junk and wouldn’t go back in so i had to use my own bolts but they didnt grab the metal pole in every case so then i had to use duct tape–i was considering drilling a big hole in the metal poles and then screwing my bolt into the hole but metal pole looked too delicate and too poor quality to hold the bolt. Also the lazy arms did not stay at 45 degree angle and kept squishing in, because i have a dual; so probably this product does ‘t work for a dual BUT PRODUCT ADVERTIZEMENT SAID IT WOULD WORK FOR A DUAL–hence this was misleading marketing. Finally i needed the lazy arm to go out farther but it could not and company did’nt provide any additional lazy arm extenders–that’s no good.Finally I saw where this product was made: China; and then I understood the reason for the poor workmanship and low quality: China is famous for this and for parts that easily break and/or don’t work and for poor quality and substandard workmanship. Buyer beware: Dont buy this product.

QuerÃa esta base para colocar las luces de un tortugario grande ovalado, por lo que no es rectangular como una pecera y sus dimensiones son grandes.La base no se adapta al lugar, está endeble y las tortugas fácilmente podrÃan tirarla, no tiene pinzas para sujetar a la base, y hay más peso arriba que abajo por lo que no creo que sea seguro utilizarlas.Estoy muy descepcionada, esperaba tener que adaptarlas un poco, pero para que sean útiles tendré que cambiar la base y ajustar que no exista ese juego con las lámpas. Lo venden para que se pueda adaptar a más grados, pero no agregan una manera para fijarlo en el lugar que tú elijas.Insisto en que es súper inseguro para tortugas, los que tenemos estas mascotas sabemos que son fuertes, curiosas y trepadoras, por completo es una mala opción este producto.
