Repti Zoo vs. Moistenland Ventilation Fan
I bought both the Repti Zoo and the Moistenland Ventilation Fan For Reptile Enclosure. In the video you can see 2 Repti Zoo (I decided to return the Moistland). I tried to capture the noise. The noise in the video sounds worse to me than what it is. The snake doesnât seem to be bothered by the noise or the air coming out (he checked it out when he climbed up the waterfall).Air flow is superior to the Moistenland. Two Repti Zoo took my humidity from 85% to 75% (on the wet side).Moistenland is definitely quieter, but the air flow is very limited (so one does bring air into the tank but not enough to affect the humidity). If all you need is to introduce some fresh air into the enclosure and want the quiet, then Moistenland is great.You can also flip the parts of the Repti Zoo so it takes air out of the tank. I tried it with one, thinking itâs better for circulation, but eventually I found out that the humidity goes down more if I just have both of them blow air into the tank.

Noise
Works great it does produce a minor noise like a computer fan would sound from the fan, but it does help keep humidity down and spread heat, whichever you would like also great for cooling inside of terrarium. I have 2 on a 4x2x2 terrarium and work as I would like.

Ineffective for my purposes
The fan is much smaller than I had expected, though it does match the dimensions advertised. I was hoping for something larger as I’m trying to cool a 4’x2’x2′ enclosure with it. The fan is not nearly powerful enough to have any effect on this enclosure at all. I would estimate the fan to be probably about 60-80mm in diameter.The fan isn’t overly loud, but the noise it makes is kind of a high-pitched whine, so the sound can be intrusive if you’re sensitive to that.The air blows down in standard configuration, but I believe the magnet is powerful enough to hold the fan up against the screen if you want to invert the configuration. That said, I would not install either of the removable parts on this fan as they will greatly diminish the airflow and make the fan ineffective on anything but the smallest of enclosures.Overall, I’m disappointed. I would like to see ReptiZoo expand this product line to include various sizes with recommendations for various enclosure sizes. I think a 140-200mm fan, or a product of multiple 120mm fans, would be necessary for an enclosure of the size I’m working with. It would be nice to see them collaborate with a quality fan manufacturer like Noctua to improve the airflow and noise levelâthis type of use case has had a lot of improvement work already in computer chassis cooling.

Beware of dust, otherwise great
I had this running for several months straight with no issues. It introduced airflow to an otherwise stagnant habitat. Be aware that it will only bring humidity down to that of the surrounding area, but I discovered I was able to lower humidity effectively by having this run the air over a silica gel based hangable dehumidifier. I had to stop using it eventually because of dust buildup, it got noisier and the fan got slower over time, youâll need a bottle of compressed air ready because there is no way to take this apart to clean the parts

Loud, Doesnât Work
This tiny dehumidifier is built well and is easy to use. However, it hasnât changed the humidity level in my 40 gallon bearded dragon tank and it is ridiculously loud! I love the size and idea of it, but will be returning it due to the fact that it doesnât solve my problem and itâs loud af.

Great, if a little loud.
I got this for my tree frogs to give them good ventilation in a humid environment. The noise of the fan is slightly more than that of the air bubbler I have in the water feature, so if you own an aquarium you have a rough idea of how loud it will be. The airflow is strong enough to shift the plants directly beneath it and definitely causes me to run the misting system more often, but it doesn’t bother me to do so. The magnetic attachment means you don’t need to put any holes in the screen mesh of the tank, which is a huge plus.

Noise scares my beardie
Didn’t do anything about the humidity. It just scared my bearded dragon for hours because of how loud it is. Not quiet like it says it is. Just get that air purifier with the filter replacements, a lot quieter and better at keeping humidity down.

Air Purifier/Dehumidifier for your terrarium!
Sticks to the inside of the mesh lid and works as an air purifier! Effectively keeps dust and other particles out of your enclosure, if your home is prone to being dusty this is extremely useful. Promotes good airflow as well as removing excess humidity.Only con is it is a lil noisy, not too much but you can definitely hear it. Luckily my Beardie doesn’t seem to mind. He gets a dust free home with clean air!
