SURPRISED!
First, the hygrostat failed and couldnât get a replacement. Fair enough, I bought a digital, external hygrostat to power unit on and off. Now the low water alarm goes off with three annoying beeps and it is 3/4 of way full! PLZ TAKE MY ADVICE – if it is digital, do not buy it from reptizoo! Or, hey, plan on replacing every 6 months.UPDATE: Reptizoo reached out to me! They replaced the unit with an updated version! Their Customer Service is making me eat my words! They did not even want the broken one returned. The only way I know how to thank them is to order another one for my other enclosure!Just purchased ANOTHER one for another enclosure!

Really, stunningly poor quality equipment. Very unreliable. Sensor probe stopped working within a few months. Remote stopped working within a few weeks. Customer support told me that if I had purchased from their website (which looks like an internet clubhouse for amateur scammers) they would cover any malfunctioning equipment within one year of purchase, otherwise I would have to go through the ‘store’ I purchased from (Amazon)Please tell me how that makes any sense…. So I’ve decided to eliminate the middleman and buy my Chinese crap products directly from the Chinese. I can alter them to do what this piece of crap was supposed to do and never has. I’ll post a picture later of it in the trash can. What a waste of materials.Our future will have no place for such irresponsible companies. In the meantime, there’s still room for people who love to build garbage for premium cost and then contribute it to a landfill within a year (looks with vicious intent at my neverending irritation of a Jeep)Not that it matters any longer, but this product is a pain to fill, is a pain to clean and all of its components look like they are rejects from an electricians disgusted inspection of a HUD home.The timed function runs for a MINIMUM of TWO MINUTES (which will drown my crested geckos in their 12x12x14″ terrarium)Ridiculously stupid. Thirty seconds would suffice.Remote (when it worked) is so cheap that it wouldn’t show up on a cost evaluation and an itemized list thereof. It’s a good idea on paper where it should have stayed before being used to ignite a campfire.Display is terrible. Waay too bright and distracting. You can turn it off, but then you have to depend on the cheap remote which doesn’t work half the time or in my case at all. It would have been simpler to provide a higher quality screen that might perhaps show in amber or green or blue with a dimming feature. And it shouldn’t cost more, as they already charge too much money for this pittance of a product. Add to it a decent remote that doesn’t look like it’s designed to control a string of Halloween lights for one season. For that matter perhaps a material for the lid that doesn’t crack when you are attempting to remove it. Or one that has a reservoir made of plastic that is not quite so fragile and brittle.This is NOT a competently designed and constructed item. Save your money. Please.

It works great!
This humidifier works great. My only complaint is the water that leaks from it. It isnât a lot but I think bc of the placement itâs more than usual. I use it for my baby tortoise who needs the humidity. It doesnât make any noise really and itâs nice and small taking up lil space. Great value for the money since I seen it other places for a lot more than what I got it for. I highly recommend this product.

Broke Quickly: UPDATE
I was originally really happy with this when it first arrived, but it’s only been a few months and already this thing has broken. It leaks constantly, which causes water to get into places it shouldn’t and messes up the sensors so that it either never goes off when it should or never stops going off. I woke up this morning to my lizard’s enclosure absolutely soaked. Not sure if i just got a defective one or what, but it was a waste of money.EDIT: This is not the update I wanted to make. I’ll start with the good news. After I initially posted this review, the company was nice enough to send me a replacement which I thought was very generous and good customer service, and that is the only reason I’m giving this as many as 3 stars. Unfortunately, after only maybe a month of using the new one, it also broke, but this time in a different way. I’ve included a video this time. In the beginning of the clip, i am running the first one, the one that broke initially that I wrote the original review about. This is it running at full capacity, and as you can see, it’s a pretty powerful flow. The second part is the new product also running at full capacity, and as you can see, it does not flow at all. I’m not sure what’s caused this problem, and honestly I’m sick of this. While the old product’s flow works fine, all the previous issues I wrote about initially still apply, and the newer one doesn’t work at all with no flow. At this point i just wish I could be refunded so I can by a different product. At least the company attempted to make it right, but unfortunately they could not. This product just sucks.

This is worth the money
I have a ball python that being I have to keep him on paper, the humidity has been a disaster to control. I had another brand and it never matched what the other sensors in my tank said. This being both hygrometer and humidifier covers both for less than the cost of 2 units. Being top filled the unit can stay put. It cleans easily. I wish I got this from the beginning! You can control humidity in both using a timer and I use the minimum and maximum settings. You can control the rate of âflowâ sorry thatâs the wrong word but you hopefully get what I mean. It also as a bonus to me has a thermometer in the sensor. It does have alarms, I havenât had use of them. Super easy to fill. Just go slow.

Problems
Loved this fogger when I first got it. However I have had multiple issues with it including leaking, digital screen malfunctioning and the fan quit working. Now it just beeps. Waste of money

Thank God I was I home early and then I saw that there was a humongous pile of wire, could’ve caused a house fire with the amount of stuff I’ve had, it’s stupid of me trusting it. It worked amazing in the beginning but I guess the seal goes out over time.

The product works well and provide a good adjustable levels of fog but the humidity probe stopped working after 4 months, due, somehow, to a leak (there was water in the USB port). This probe was the reason why I bought this unit so this is pretty disapointing.
