This is an awesome misting system that I picked up to upgrade a smaller, lighter duty one. The pump is significantly larger and runs much more quietly than the old one. It comes with a ton of pieces to give you a lot of options on how you use it. It’s easy to get setup and program and works great. I have not experienced any leakage at all. All in I’d say it’s a good value. My only gripe is that there is no housing over the wired connections to the pump, like seriously? Shouldn’t these be protected. A bit disappointing in that regard.

Using this for a grow tent
This is my first “heavy duty” misting system that I’m testing out for my grow tent.I’ve alwaysed used a traditional humidifier to mist and increase the humidity in my grow tent. But I found the RH level was hard to control, using the humidifier was a bit cumbersome with constant refills, and I had to strategically place the humidifier in my tent for maximum coverage.This little unit is pretty cool. I can leave the unit and water jug outside of the tent and it is easy to see the water level and replace the 5 gallon jug.Mostly, I like the fact that I was able to attach the hose around the frame of the tent and add nozzles where I want them. This allows a top to bottom and multidirectional misting.I can’t speak to the nosie level since this is my first unit so I don’t have a basis for comparison. It is also set up in my garage, so I don’t really hear it inside the house.For my purpose, this may be an overkill, but if it works out over the winter, I’ll be getting a larger tent or possibly test out the ability to tether another tent to the misting system.I do want to echo another review that a housing for the unit would be super beneficial to protect it feom water splash, dust, and other debris. It would also be more aesthetically pleasing with a simple enclosure or frame to protect the unit.Otherwise, the set up is nearly complete. It is pretty simple so far. I can only compare it to setting up spray nozzles outdoors for potted plants or the garden. The hardest part that took the longes was the placement of the unit, the hose, and the nozzles to make sure they cover the proper area (or it may just be me ð¤·ââï¸). I may also think about getting a stand or build a small frame to elevate and protect the unit.
