Customers say

Customers find the fish food easy to prepare and appreciate its quality, with otocinclus and shrimp particularly enjoying it. The product has good longevity, with one customer noting it stores well in the freezer for up to 6 months. While some customers consider it worth the price, others find it overpriced, and opinions about its sturdiness are mixed.

My Otos eat this! (and almost everyone else)
My Otocinclus weren’t eating the algae wafers I was dropping into a relatively new tank, and being that it didn’t quite have a self-sustaining load of algae or biofilm yet, I was worried they weren’t getting enough to eat. I tried this food and it’s wonderful. Very easy to make, and it congeals into a jail in about 30 minutes after you boil water and mix the powder in. Follow the directions and it’s literally impossible mess up.I made it in the container in the pictures, small porcelain ramekin/souffle dish, let it cool, popped it out onto a paper plate and then sliced it into pieces that I felt to be manageable enough for the fish. The Mollies, Corys and Blue Ram Cichlids will occasionally grab a bite of it as well but so far it’s the only food that I’ve fed the Otos that they’ve taken. Haven’t seen the Plecos go after it, but that could be because they’re in different, well-established tank with lots of algae growth for them to work on.It has the look of a high quality food with a huge number of ingredients and has a very vegetative and a tiny bit of a seaweed smell, I purchased this variety specifically for my vegetarians in the tank although the omnivores seem to like it too.I will absolutely be trying Repashy’s other products. You also get a ton of this powder and the addition of water makes two to three more times the amount of food that is in the jar.Very satisfied. It seems expensive up front but overall it’s a great value considering how much food you can make.See the pictures for how much food I got out of maybe 3 table spoons (1.5 oz or 50ish ml of powder with three times that amount of water). The container is a 12 oz souffle dish. Also see the size of those cubes mixed to a juvenile Julii Cory.

Great additional food for shrimp, Otocinclus, snails-fish too. Easy to make Ready in 1 hour
Shrimp love it. Otocynclus love it, the snails love it.It was easy to make–watched a few videos. It congeals in about an hour at room temperature or you can just put it in the fridge. You can use just about anything that’s a low vessel as a container to store and make (take out food bin, tupperware, small silicone or large ice molds) They are able to be gripped or rather properly prepared I can grip it lightly with my long aquarium tweezers to set in the tank where ever I want.

    Pricey but totally worth it!
Fantastic stuff! I held out on buying it due to cost and varying opinions online. I needed to buy a different formula of Rapashy from my axolotl and figured I would just get Soilent Green too. I have never been more pleased. I didn’t get the ratios quite right, there’s a minisculeearning curve regarding that, nonetheless the shrimp are loving the gobbed on bit I was able to get on a bamboo skewer. Even in its poor preparation, the food is staying together, not fouling the water, and its been in there for about 20-30 minutes! I absolutely recommend for aquarium hobbyists. Next, to buy gummy molds for fun shapes, bc who doesn’t want to feed their aquatic buddies a donut shaped nutrition bomb

    CORY FOOD!
Looking for a great food to target your coryadoras? This is the best thing in the market. I put a chunk of this in all four of my tanks every morning. Your Cory’s will find it pretty quickly and eat it until it’s gone. Plecos enjoy it as well, though not like Cory’s do. In my experience, oto’s won’t touch it, though others say they have great luck. I have 4 tanks with oto’s in them and none of mine recognize it as food. But I have a lot of happy Cory’s!

    Worth every cent..
This stuff is the holy grale for fish. If u dont have it, get it!!! I have bottom feeders in my tank. My featherfin catfish started getting odd… wouldnt eat…. i read on The sinking wafers that they contain no algae what so ever. Got this and let me tell u… it stinks worse than the most rotten smelling tuna can… u know its gonna b good!!!! Craigory will not go without now. She is healthy and flourishing at 5 years… a little goes a long way… as far as taste…. im thinkin 20/10.. i would taste but im gonna guess it’s like grass with a dash of dead corpse.. the ingredients r sooo good for these guys.. size is small jar but worth it if u love your fich… it does hold true tonits value. it stores in freezer after made for 6 months. Dont need a lot to feed my hungry mouth!;) just add powder to water and walla… done. Refrideration life is 6 days. I make enough to last 6 months. U have to wprk fast b4 it sets up. I put it in small ice cube trays cut those in 1/2. U can make whatever desired consistency u want. Get it!!!!!! Your fiches will b thanking u
