Alright guys, this one comes with a bit of a story and I like to go as in depth as possible when I do reviews, so brace yourselves! I personally have very fine hair that is low porosity and type 2A (loose waves). On top of that, my hair has been thinning out for the past decade due to some health issues. The area I live in is also very dry and has hard water, which makes my hair and skin feel extremely dry unless I add various products to both to prevent that, and even then, it has been a beast trying to find anything that actually works. I have tried NUMEROUS conditioners and shampoos from several different companies, including brands like Prose that make shampoos that are specifically for your hair based off of the information that you provide and their algorithm gives them, and I honestly have just not been loving any of them. Most of the time, my hair instantly felt like straw the second after I rinsed out the shampoos I have washed my hair with. My hair also just would not retain any moisture from the conditioners once I rinsed them out then either air dried or blow dried it. My hair strands would also break very easily and I got a lot of scalp acne. I have tried using several different methods to help alleviate this issue like letting my hair sit under warm water for a couple of minutes before applying shampoo to help open the cuticles, rinsing my hair under cold water when rinsing out the conditioner, using deep conditioners (deep conditioners so far have been the only thing that has worked and left my hair feeling pretty decently hydrated), etc. In other words, literally nothing I have tried has worked how I needed/wanted until I went back to the basics and tried products that I used to use as a teenager and loved. This set of products was one of one of them! I intially purchased this brand of shampoo and conditioner from Walmart several years ago, before their product’s label changed, and I remembered I loved how it smelled and how it made my hair feel.Two nights prior to me actually receiving and using these products, I was putting curlers in my hair along with some mousse to help my hair hold the curl better once the curlers were taken out. The mousse, which by the way, was supposed to work for my specific hair type, made the texture of my hair feel AWFUL and that is honestly an understatement! My hair was sticky and felt extremely dry, more so than normal, and the curl from the curlers did not stay either. After taking the curlers out, I went to brush out my curls, in order to help them blend together, and A LOT of hair was on my brush. I was so upset and definitely did not want to have this issue occur after I had previously freshly washed my hair which felt mostly nice and moisturized. At this point, I had had enough and I was worried that the Prose shampoo and conditioner I have been using would just make things worse since I was still having dryness, so I decided to give these products a try again. I just barely got this bundle yesterday, and I just had to wash my hair immediately! First off, the shipping was super fast, which was wonderful! Gotta love the fast Amazon, two-day shipping time! I cannot say enough good things about these products. Immediately after washing this shampoo out of my hair, I was just as floored as I remembered I was in the past. My hair felt clean, but not straw-like as it has felt for a LONG TIME! It also completely removed the residue from the mousse that I used as well, which was what I was hoping for. Then the conditioner! Oh my gosh! Even better! My hair felt super hydrated even after I rinsed it out with cold water. The only thing I did have a small issue with is these products did weigh down the waves in my hair because of the coconut oil in the conditioner, but I think that is because I accidentally used too much conditioner. I will definitely continue purchasing these products!

Pump covers did not work from beginning
I gave it a four stars, because it seems to work well, leaves your hair feeling smoother and clean. However, the pump covers don’t work. They were not working from the beginning. It’s like they are glued in place.

Inconsistent product. Terrible packaging.
Have ordered three different times. There has been two different colored labels and the product consistency varies between the labels. One set was more pastel shades of blue and had a more watery consistency in both shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo also seemed to leave an oily residue in the hair. The labels with the yellow and darker blues have a consistency more in line with the product that used to be sold in stores.Two orders in a row the pumps were not properly screwed on tight and came loose during shipping leaving product all over everything else in the box. The plastic bar they use to connect the two bottles seems to prevent the caps from being screwed on tight. Very poor design.

Works great
I’ve gotten all kinds of shampoos in my life very expensive from salons but none of them worked like these brand s this is super awesome and made my hair grow and my daughters my whole family uses it it is awesome the biotin one is good too

Smells so good and lasts me 3-4 months. No more buying shampoo every couple weeks. The pumps make it zero mess in my shower and I don’t need to flip them upside down.

Great quality shampoo and conditioner perfect for psoriasis and dandruff as it has tea tree oil which is a natural anti inflammatory oil and rosemary oil to help improve hair growth.
