Baby mouse loves it.
Nurtured a newborn abandoned mouse and he is now a few weeks old and this is one of his favorite sleeping places. Very cute. The only criticism is that the pad inside could be better.

My mice LOVE this thing, way more than I thought they would. They hardly ever pee in it because they like it so much but I have two of them in case I have to wash it so they won’t be without one while the other one is drying.

Not like the picture
This little house looks perfect in the picture, just like a little house with a nice opening. The reality is, it doesn’t stand up like that. It’s always somewhat collapsed. The opening is almost closed unless you squeeze the sides or hold it up. I bought this for my little bird who generally likes this but doesn’t go inside unless the opening is fully open, which means he can’t use it unless we are right there to help him, and that defeats the purpose. Otherwise it’s soft and cozy.

Small, more intended for a mouse or hamster.
I bought this for my pet rat a few times in the last few months. They are just so cute! He likes to chew all the way through it. Kind of defeating the purpose of keeping warm, but that’s what he does… Unfortunately this habitat is too small for my rat. He is in-between a hamster and guinea pig size “habitats” like these. Plus he’s gotten larger so now I put his soft and warm habitat inside of his igloo. It’s been a cold winter and when I put my hand inside it was habitat, I’m happy to see that he’s very warm! The build quality is great. I never have got a chance to clean it because he tears it apart. But few of my friends have the same little habitats for their pets and they’ve been able to wash them clean. But not mine…

Perfect for my baby rat!
My baby rat hangs out with me all day, and i wanted something he could escape too when he is done. He loves this, there is a seperate cushion inside and he will take it out and make his own nest. It is perfect for him to feel secure in, but not so big that he gets lost. Highly recommend. The nose is plastic and he has tried to bite at it, so I would just monitor this if your baby nibbles like mine.

Dangerous for hamsters
It is very cute and soft but my Syrian hamster ate right through it in one night- it was not boredom because she has 2 large connected cages, burrowing areas, chew toys, a wheel, etc. we got this because it was adorable and thought it would be cozy for her- big mistake
