Do not buy
I just returned this as it does not let any water out. I got it to be an extra for my rabbit as he drinks a ton of water and he would drink what came out in the bowl and that was all that came out unless you pushed the bottle on it again. That’s completely against the point of having something like this.

Great little water dispenser for more than just rabbits.
so technically, this is marketed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small pets, but I actually got it for my cats. I have five cats total, but not all of them get along, so sometimes I need to move a few to the bedroom temporarily, especially when Iâm putting down things like diatomaceous earth in the living room. I didnât want to log their huge water dispenser, back-and-forth and spill water along the way, so this little thing has been surprisingly helpfulIt holds a decent amount of water which I believe is around 33 ounces, which is more than enough for a few hours or even overnight. I like that it uses gravity to refill the bowl automatically and doesnât overflow. Everything puts together well and once you figure out how to twist the blue cap insert the bottle installation is really simple. Itâs also really easy to fill out the sink and doesnât leak.Now, itâs all plastic⦠So if youâre actually using it for a rabbit or something that likes to chew, just keep that in mind. It does feel pretty durable though.The only real downside is cleaning. You have to unscrew the whole thing to clean the dish properly, and one of my cats loves to drop his dry food into the water like heâs cooking up a soup⦠And then forgets about it. So I end up needing to clean it pretty regularly. I just wish the bottom dish was removable without unscrewing everything.Still, for the price and purpose, I think itâs a great little water station⦠Especially if youâre dealing with temporary set ups or smaller pets.

Arrived in a clearly labeled, well packed box. The plastic is very solid. I wouldn’t be at all afraid of dropping it on the floor or throwing it across the room into the wash bucket. Use case – I’m on the fence about it. The design is really smart.Slide the clear container into the white container, fill with water, and put the round lid on. Once the lid is on, it can’t slide back out of the white container.Put the round piece into the cage with the thing sticking out of it through a cage window.Add the base.Flip the water container upside down and drop it in.Put the flat lid on top if you want.There’s a large flat piece with curved sides that goes on the side of the water container facing the cage.It blocks the rest of the window.The threaded part should be sticking into the cage so it’s above the round drinking reservoir.Twist on the knob thing.It’s not going *anywhere*.This is great because I’m using it for button quail, and it means they won’t get crushed.It’s bad because cleaning it is going to be a pain in the butt.A note on the water reservoir lid – it has a soft silicone seal. It creates an airtight seal so water doesn’t leak out.I didn’t find any instructions, and it took me maybe 5 min to figure it out.I recommend it, but to be honest, I’m probably going to end up just sitting the whole thing inside the cage.
