I love the light weight litter
I love the light weight little – so much easier to haul and dispose of. This stuff clumps very well. My cats box is in a pretty small area and no smells – so this stuff is working well.

What happened?
This litter WAS awesome when I started using it about a year ago. I donât know what happened.The GOOD:I love that itâs lightweight.Comes in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. Easy to carry, easy to pour. Havenât had a problem with it arriving with an open bag.I like that itâs not a yet another plastic jug.I re-use the bag as a trash bag when doing yard cleanup or will sometimes wash it out and use it to put items out in storage in my resin-type shed.Itâs unscented, although there is an ever so slightâ¦I donât even want to call it a fragrance but itâs not offensive at all. (and Iâm pretty sensitive).The ONLY time I smell anything in the litter box is RIGHT AFTER one of my cats poops. Only lasts 20 mins or so. Never had an issue with it smelling after they pee. And even if Iâm away a day or two, they are no issues with odor when I return. You cannot tell I have two cats like you can sometimes when entering a home with a litter box.Itâs easy to scoop, just make sure youâre topping it off to keep the level up. )It really only sticks to the bottom/sides of youâre running low.)All that said, what the heck happened to this??The BAD: (!!!)It TRACKS EVERYWHERE. I have a large litter mat, and an extra one in their walking path when they exit the box. There is STILL litter tracked everywhere.Their box is the bathroom (unless Iâm gone for an extended time and have someone checking in on them- then I put it out in the kitchen).So they track it through the bathroom, through my bedroom and to to the kitchen. (There is even litter on my bed, I have keep to a sheet over the top.)I have even put down towels for them to walk on and it STILL GETS EVERYWHERE.Also, itâs dustier than it used to be. I have to cover my mouth/nose when I do their box or I start coughing. (I guess those leftover face masks come in come in handy again all). The dust also tends to settle on surfaces; it never used to.Needless to say, Iâm on the hunt for another brand. I may have to go back to the regular clumping. I used to use the Fresh Step unscented that comes in the 4pk of bags, but the price kept going way up on it. My daughter used the Tidy Cat lightweight, so I figured Iâd try it out. Loved it when I first starting using it. Have tried others – like the Catâs Pride (terrible), so will have to keep looking.Good luck!I try to be moreIt gotten dustier than it was and also- it TRACKS EVERYWHERE!!! This litter does what it says! I have 3 cats sharing the boxes and the odor is minimal when someone just used it; then dissipates quickly! The tracking is minimal, yay. Highly recommend.

Cat litter for cats
Great cat litter. Keeps the litter box from smelling and clumps fairly quickly and is easy to clean up. No issues with cat using it and is easy to sweep up if any gets on floor. Would buy again.

Used for so many years with no issue. I have since changed brands, but for reasons that don’t concern the brand Tidy Cats directly (I try to go for corn-based now). Their litter is great. It does have a basic litter smell, but does a good job at trapping cat odors. It’s not especially dusty on my medium-hair black cat either (nothing is perfect with a black cat though lol), and seems to like it just fine too, never had issues with the texture or anything. The lightweight aspect always made it easy for me to carry a box home, if I couldn’t get it delivered through amazon.I actually still do use it a bit. I use 50/50 of this, with the other part being corn-based litter. I find the corn litter struggles a bit more with cat odors, but has a gentler basic smell. Combining the two litters gives out a great balance for odor control!

I love this litter. Willing to pay the extra for it. Light, clumps great with little/no odor. I find the colour and consistency a bit different than the pour jugs I used to buy. Darker grey, thicker. Still, works amazingly and I’ll keep buying it. Love that I don’t have to trek home with huge jugs/boxes AND grocery. Amazon rocks!

This is top notch kitty litter! Personally I like the unscented! Apparently so do lots of others as itâs often sold out! Thank goodness the scented one works just as well. I just prefer zero scent in my home. Such a great product! It lasts twice as long as other litters and clumps beautifully!Live it!!!!
